Amongst all professions, police officers have the highest rates of domestic violence, child abuse, alcoholism, chemical dependency, aggravated assault, suicide, and murder. Note that the actual rates for cops in all of these categories are far higher than what the federal government and other sources claim, as studies have shown that most police misconduct is covered up. Cops are mentally disturbed people who should not be handed badges, guns, and the accompanying power on a silver platter.
