hey guys i have a 1986 pontiac parissane check the page for pics..i need to know how much it wounld cost to replacde the vinyl ..it has a lil rustin but i have bondo..it out for the most par i need help.
@Moralvorstellung7 I sub out all my upholstry work, the guys doing this job don't work for me, but I would presume it would be around 400.00 to 500.00 easy.
@but199018 Yeah it is possible, but you are gambeling on the weather getting under the lip of it and causing RUST.. If you don't tuck it under the chrome trim, you should get some sylicone of the same color and calk it up to seal the edges in. Pete
Pete, I have a one question. How and where do you find all the pro's to perform work on your vehicles? The more videos I see from you the more you are becoming my ace (go to guy) for my vehicle!
cant wait to see of you reapolster a seat, is easier than you think. just becareful with the hog ring gun. the little twerp will install a new persing in you, just ask my thumb!
@loveanianimeme Personally I would go with vinyl. Due to the fact that the new vinyls they have on the market today are better, softer, and cheaper then leather.. Pete
my neighbours daily driver 68 bug (uk) had vandals key the roof in the 70's & he had vinyl put on there instead of a repaint, still on there today. fact-a-mundo!
part 2 man :), your a vinyl teaser,
hows the subscription going? you got to keep growing Pete.

Care to give me an estimate on what it would cost to replace the vinyl top on a 1984 Chrysler LeBaron?

Is it possible to tuck the material without taking of the molding? I have a 1981 Olds Cutlass Supreme Brougham.

Yep, that's not something I would try to tackle myself. It's one of those things that I think it's better to let the pro's handle.
