Beautiful. One of my favourite Hollies songs, always has been from the moment I first heard it. I don't think many people are that aware of any songs these guys did after about 1973-74 - as in "The Air The I Breathe". And yet there were some really stunning moments in the following years. This, "Too Many Hearts Get Broken" and especially "Soldier's Song" stand out from that general "forgotten" era.
I mean`t that Allan showed his greatness to write and produce the song to a TV program that appeared in England in 1989, called "Find A Family". The program was about the foster family and children who lived with them as foster children. I think this video is made to this program and when you listen to the text so it is very descriptive. That`s all.
