@oldras Yes, the Conga! One of the Maasai warrior's main throw weapons when passing their final trial - killing a male lion (the tradition has now died, sadly). They tought me to use it in my time in Kenya, and even presented me with my own Chuka (the red blankets they wear). I still have both as a reminder of a truely incredible culture.

there are 3 books written The White Masai, Reunion in Barsaloi and Back from Africa. You can follow what happened afterwards. The books should be available in your public libraries.

It was something inside myself, that had nothing to do with the melanin in my flesh. Was I paying attn. to skin color when I was a boy? No. Should I now? No. Its not the flesh, its the spirit.
