  • they should have kept going with the buell. idiots

  • The advertisement in this video is typical of american men! I like the Brutale, but hardly davisons are junk! Hardly davisons are american and gay. If hardly davison has purchased MV Agusta, then I hope MV Agusta goes out of business! If it is not true, then they should thrive.

  • mv now cheaply made yank crap once a good bike

  • harleys are for fat wannabes.

  • i really hate the fact that HD has taken over but i guess they did not have any other suitable options and its better than not having them in the market at all

  • no sound of riding the bike? boooo

  • MV is all about details! HD isn't!

  • HD are shit. Poor MV :(

  • re:RifledBarrel. long forks shit tyres and you to can join the masey ferguson (sorry hardley) brand image.. MV doomed!

  • MV Agusta is doomed now that the yanks have got hold of it.

  • RifledBarrel...I hate to say this "BUT" i think you mit be right on..We will F it up. but then again I own a 675 and an R6

    BOOO.... HD sucks...!!!!

  • If I got to choose I would scrap the Harley brand and keep MV and Buell. But that will never happen unfortunately.

  • I don't mind...

Let HD sell MV ans so they might make great bikes again (those incoming three-cylinders)

By the way, a shame they're shutting down Buell, pintorsesque little bikes... but it is a favour to the aesthetics fo this world.

  • HD will sell MV soon if they are smart. There is no future for this brand. The markets are already flooded with bikes such as these.

  • i don't like it!

  • the riding position looks weird in the vid, perhaps because of the fixed footpegs?

it looks uncomfortable, like he's trying to duck under a branch

  • he's probably trying to catch less wind

  • From the front the Brutale looks like a fuckn' scooter!!!..... THAT'S FUCKD' UP....

  • That's what I thought too!!

  • Rumor has it that even though Buell is being shut down, Harley is still keeping the 1125R, as it was Buell's top selling model. Buell had only sold a hair over 10,000 units in '09, and 10k units a year is not enough to support any motorcycle company.

  • the gauge or w/e sticks out to much, too high.

  • harley davidson ownership??? thats new news to me sorry

  • Shit, you guys are sooooo damn lucky to experience the sheer ride of the machines. I want one sooo bad!

  • Saw the Ducati today and while i was watching this thought it must of been one of these but obviousley not......

  • Why does this look almost identical to a ducati? And why the hell does the headlight look like its off of a newer model vw beetle??

  • because ducati copied the design? (whcich is like 10 years older than the ducati's new design)

  • Yeah the headlamp does look like it came from a new beetle LOL

  • It may be the only one under Harley, as they just...JUST....sold MV.

  • who too ?

  • Buell is being shut down as well. According to the article I read, no buyer for MV Agusta has been announced yet. Harley posted a 21% drop in retail sales in the third quarter, compared to last year. The recession is hitting everyone hard.

  • The Buell shutdown blows.

    Hope MV survives this...

IMO America should support HD and HD owned company's financially!! It's cultural heritage. It's like closing the Royal Albert Hall, or a Saint Paul's Cathedral or something similar. They just cant do that It's almost blasphemy if they were to be shut down (Yeah and that comes from someone who rides 2 japs..)

Couldn't afford HD until now. And as it seems, by the time I could afford them there not going to be around anymore... That blows big-time.

  • Well, thankfully, H-D is not in such dire straights that they have sought a bail-out yet. . . . I think the sell-off and shut-down are attempts to batten down the hatches for the long-haul. If things get worse, I'm sure there will be a hue and cry to shore-up the venerable old Motor Company.

Now if only they would produce some models at prices people can afford!

  • Harley is not about to fold, sales are just down. I don't know where you got that idea. They are still producing parade floats in various colors.

  • Yeah I know but selling of parts is a clear sign, that things aren't real good right now. But that's why I said HD owned companies too. Because the Buell bankrupt really sucks IMO.

I mean sales are down everywhere, but there'll be better times. And in my opinion with a little help now, Buell could still be a viable company in 30 yrs. It's not that there was a structural problem. It's just a pity. Especially considering Opel was saved by the German state, although majority owned by GM.
