  • Coming from the military family that I did, I grew up hearing about the Buffalo Soldiers. My Dad was apart of the Triple Nickels, the first Black Paratroopers and like the Buffalo Soldiers, their stories too went untold. The stories of the Tuskegee Airmen and now the Red Tails have been told but there are more stories yet shared. Thank you for your works.

  • This is great! My husband is a Payne, a relative of Isaac Payne, a Black Seminole Scout, who received the Medal of Honor during an encounter near the Pecos River in 1875. I love hearing about this rich history! Please keep doing what you are doing!
