Bit of a sexist comment that :-) I'm sure many guys can play with equal expression too, and lots of people (male or female) could o a more interesting arrangement with better harmonies etc. This performance is fine but not very adventurous I think.
By the way, the trems are set very slow on this organ in my opinion - whose idea was that?
Hey, "Leslie spinner", The B-3 was made in imitation of the pipe organ. If there had been no pipes, there had been no B-3! Because you play a Hammond is no reason not to be a fan of the pipes. You should listen a bit more, you might become a fan!
Turboknightrider must be IGNORANT about organ playing--professional organists NEVER play barefoot. To do so is poor technique. REAL organists have organ shoes we wear and it is meet and right so to do!
lol you don`t know what you`re talking about hm`?also real organists play barefoot!search for the synonym adrienne hindmarch!she alwasy plays her organ barefoot!
Carlo Curley too, can often be seen playing with just socks on his feet. its good for organists to be able to feel the pedals under their feet, it makes it much easier. flat organ shoes makes pedal technique awkward to learn. i once knew an organist who had different pedal techniques for for every pair of his shoes. the best type of shoe any organist deserves is a suede-sole or moccasin with a slight heel made up, that really helps with 'heel-toe' technique.
Love the song, love the organ - LOVE THIS SONG ON THE ORGAN! I often pull this one out for some of my voice students to learn in order to get them to be comfortable being expressive when singing. Thank God for A Chorus Line
Sue Ward plays soo nicely and she`s quite awsome, I just wonder if there could be a camera close up of her feet on the pedals so we could also see her pedalwork action, is that possible?
Very nice rendition! Who is the organist. It's been about 25 years since I was an ATOS member. I was on the Saturday crew from 1974-1982 helping to restore the former RKO Albee WurliTzer in Emery Theatre in Cincinnati. I understand that Emery Theatre is now the Emery Apartments and the organ is being installed in the ballroom at Music Hall. I am now in a locality with no theatre organ related activity of any sort.
Sadly, your story has been a common one around the country. Few folks know that the American Theatre Organ and the Banjo are our nations only original musical invention. Thinking about this one would think we would insist on better preservation of their originallity.
Beautiful lady playing a beautiful instrument. So good to see the girls playing. Not enough do. Thanks for doing such a good job.

My dad has a music store when I was a kid and he got this flexible demo record from Conn with the "One" number from Chorus Line. I wish I had that.

Yea, I would like to hear more of Sue's playing. Granada would be a great one to post.

Soon we will post Sue playing "Granada". Her pedalwork is fantastic. Good idea, getting a closeup of her pedalwork.
To answer Dojora4 reference to multiple memory levels for combination action, yes it does.
