  • fantastic vidéo thanks .......

  • dont understand anyone buying a dozer that size with no ripper

  • i have two of them they run fine

  • I heard from a contractor friend of mine who i utilise on the minsite from time to time that the D10 was the most reliable unit as everything just came together right symetrically and it all just married up right whereas the D11 has never progressed to the next stage because they have not ironed out the teething problems due to the step up in m3 which is what 11 means 11m3, apparently it cannot push 11m3 for as long as a D10 can push its recommended 10m3..let me know if he is right about this?

  • pai, quero um desse no natal.....

  • Does anyone know how much lb/ft of torque the D11 motor makes?? I believe its a Cat 3508B. 850hp is a little meaningless for this application where torque is king.

  • de aunts heir

  • magnifique machine.

  • i dont understand sh!t

  • c'est fabuleux

  • quelle est le code moteur de ce v8 de cat ???? jai une idee de la cylindre environ 35L si je ne me trompe pas mais jaimerais avoir le code si possible et si il est common rail ou simple injection electronique

  • I've got a hankering to get a crew cut and operate some heavy equipment. OH! I've already got a crew cut and I love the smell of diesel exhaust!!! Tim the Tool Man!! Eat your heart out!! If it ain't Caterpillar, park it!

  • Caterpillar: "Moving Mountains"

  • gotta love your cats! my dad has worked on one of these monsters before, had to do some tranny work

  • Dayum!!!

  • Hi guyes! What can you say about CHETRA 590 h.p dozer simmilar to CAT D11? If you never seen you can find it in my channel.

  • I found, Chetra 590 to 590 horses for a poid of 67' 850 kilos, comparatively, Caterpillar makes in poid: 104' 000 Kilos for a power of 935 HP, which wants to say 1243 CV

  • it's huge and great machine ...

best in the world ,,, thanks

  • Travailler 30 ans sur ce genre d'engin, et bien vous ne profiterez pas de votre pension ou alors en chaise roulante !

  • Amazing Dozer! Better than Komatsu 575

  • better in what way.....just because america cant claim the title of the worlds largest most powerfull bulldozer doesnt mean that the komatsu is no good,...

  • Carlo, i have run brand new cats and komatsus, The 575 may push more per push but them komatsus break down lots more, Gimme a cat anyday.

  • so the cat is more relible but then why dont cat build a bigger machine.

  • The D11 is the size of machine most mines in the world are using. Note that the D575 was built only 80 times and is discontiniued now.

More than 2000 units of the D11 have been built so far.

There are much fiewer jobs for a D575 size dozer to do than there are for a D11 size dozer.

Hope that explains it a little bigt.

  • ITS 5575

  • Get respect. Drive a Dozer!

  • my uncle has a 6h and it shakes the ground when he drives by. He hauls is on a big 80's freightliner 9 speed. He blew the little flapper of the top of the exhaust it was blowing so hard. You get a little more respect on the road with this heavy wide load. It has a 12 ft blade, but it stuck out 16 feet with the rake on it.This dozer however could cause a false earthquake lol and you have to haul this in parts by rail.

  • I've been an equipment operator for 35 years so I can really appreciate your videos. I think they're great!

  • Is touched that Operator 35 years experiment looks at my vidéos and moreover, it like me Thank you for this compliment and greetings from Switzerland!

  • @Mitch4you hey im also an operator for 13yrs now and i too love your vids, just one problem though, i cant understand this one. i no there is an english version cause i can hear brief moments of it in english so i was wundering if you knew where i could find this video in english?

  • tooner123456789 you are a fucking idiot this dozer probly has a top speed of only 35-40mph its made for low end horsepower to push or pull ALOT of weight not for some stupid nigger to put in a civic

  • Nice video, but pity I can't understand the language at all~~

  • Imagine that engine, but in a '95 civic. Anything you couldn't fit under the hood you could just let it stick out like a monster blower. And to see, you could mount a 15 foot parascope to the top of the car. I'd buy it.

  • what is the difference beetwen a d11n and a d11r??

  • WOW, cats biggest buldoser! awesome! :D

  • im posting my new pics

  • i saw that on history channel in english and it made a hell of alot more since there, and cats are built in the us i work near an engine repair shop and run into their tecks all the time

  • Do you have a link to this specific episode of the show?

  • how much horsepower does that thing have?

  • Which, I hope for Caterpillar?

  • Komatsu D575 has around 800 hp

  • the D575 has 1150hp i think

  • damn i thought they only went as big as d10 lol

  • D10 is Cat. They do also make a D11.

The D575 is a Komatsu. We just bought a used D31P, and it about 70hp. Approx the same size as a Cat D3 or D4.

  • yep i know about the d10 what i was saying was i didnt know they went bigger than that. i do know cat pretty well.

  • uhhhh.....you can't hear the audio. 2 stars

  • I am afflicted, there does not exist in English, and found in an auction, afflicted...!

  • do you have a english type... i don't know what they are saying... or can you send me something were you got it?

  • DAM that thing is big... i have seen one of them in action. and they move a lot of shit at one time

  • If I ever won a big lottery, I would buy one of these just to set and look at it. Awesome, just a beautiful piece of american power

  • if your wife or gf ever screws you over you'll have the perfect weapon to smash their car lol.

  • NA that'd be to easy.....Just fucked up lil things so when it finally break they think its their fault

  • haha, that really is more sensible.

Then you can laugh while they continue having fights and the relationship goes to hell.

  • i love te metal truck

  • Ive run both and I like Cat better it's not just the D9s and 11s and such what about the smaller ones like D6 which is a very successful tractor our Komatsu steering its totally shot which sucks whereas our cat works great and its over 10 years older

im not saying Komatsu is bad i like it to

but i really think CAT is better quality machine

  • Face the facts. Not the spreadsheet of some worn out white hat. CAT is playing catch-up to Komatsu. Just look at the seats in the cab. Look at the sticks. Look at the view. You are full of shit if you think CAT came up with this.

  • CAT playing catch up to Komatsu? I work at the Eagle Butte mine in Gillette Wyoming and they had one of these 575 dozers. The thing was in the shop (when it would run long enough to make it to the shop) more than it was at work. Finally they decided to sell it off and got a D-11T CD. You cant stop that D-11. CAT builds a much higher quality machine than that japanese piece of shit. Maybe you should actually work on these machines before you make a decision, not just read a Komatsu flyer.

  • i think you know nothing about these machines. In my country CAT sells cheap machines with low quality. I spoke with CAT vendors in my country. they told me at the CAT price i cant get goot quality.

If you want quality you have to buy komatsu. The difference between CAT & Komatsu dozers is that Komatsu builds its dozers in brazil, CAT in mexico

  • Very pretty pics. A bunch of kitty cats all purty looking and identical. Lots of purty paint and big price tags. Bleep out the pics of leaking hydraulic oil and overpriced repair costs. It's man made so it's gonna break. So it's yellow and black and sais CAT. It's getting beat down by Komatsu and you get a ball cap. If you're a big spender you get the mudflaps too! Throw in a sticker for my rear window and I'm sold. I dunno bout you guys but I'd rather run Komatsu.

  • some rog i must say

  • the Komatsu doesn't have the high drive sprocket so it would bottom out easier

  • wow, that thing dwarfs my dads d4 dozer

  • Is far as workload production the 11 cant be beat. I mean even tho the 575 is a bigger dozer itz simply wayy to hard to get your handz on in America, let alone move from site to site.O yea and the D8 or 9 ant out pushing a 355 Kom. I ran a 9 for years and i when the mine i workin started fazing out our 9z the 355z pushed right next to me and i watched it just slowly out work me ever push. I had to run it myself to see why. But anywayz Fuck Komatsu CAT POWER

  • Big bugger, innit!!

  • If its not a Cat, then it must be a dog!

  • if its not a cat then it must be good.just cause cat cant claim to have the biggest most powerfull dozer in the world they get all upset,,,,,well tough shit cause the japanies take that honour...

  • 4 miles a gallon?

  • id say more like .5 miles a gallon at the most

  • 4 gallons a mile

  • i used too run a 475 komatsu , it was a piece of shit compared to my d11r

  • CAT POWER!!

  • AWESOME!

  • Is there an English version of this vid somewhere? :p

  • I think not, saddened

  • Oh well. :p

  • yes go to cat website

  • Golly that's got to be a fun job. Dig it, shove it, load it and haul it.

  • KILLDOZER - 2 !!! (Marvin Heemeyer Returns! =)

  • These machines are just plain beautiful. Cat or Komatsu.

    Big iron rules!

  • Cat Sucks Komats dozers will out push any cat anytime anywhere

  • I beg to differ. The D575 is the only thing bigger than a D11 but it's not mass-produced. I believe a D8 or D9 could out push a D355.

  • Actually the larger cat dozers like D7 and up use differential steering, the old clutch type steering hasnt been used in years. On smaller dozers many manufacturers use hydrostatic drive so you can counterrotate the tracks to do pivot turns. Liebherr however uses hyrostatic drive on all their machines including rubber tire wheel loaders.

  • I had the occasion to work with Liebherr and Komatsu, for Liebherr, they are late in the domain, for komatsu, it's the same, you have déja to climb on a cabin, 50 years ago behind, it was the same! Let us not forget that Caterpillar to begin these activitées with tractors with chain...!

  • Does anyone know where I can find this original video?

  • The Original D10 is bigger then all D11`s.

With only 700bhp it had a unmatch Drawbar Pull.(At the time)

I was lucky enought maney years ago to see the Beta of the D575A = it was the D555A.

Komatsu has improved so much that there is not much to seperate the two companys inway of equipment Vs Equipment.

  • D11 is smaller than a Komatsu D475. I have watched a D475 out push a D11. The D575 would out push the 2 put together. D575 is the largest dozer in the world. Take a Komatsu any day if you want production and low cost per hour.

  • No there is no such thing as a D12. D11R's are not 1000hp factory, more like 850 (8ZR series was 800hp), but they can be taken up to 1000 easy enough. D11N's are factory rated less than D11R's Don't see the need for 1000hp myself, traction is more important in a dozer. They should get more than 10,000hr before rebild, more like 15-20k. The C32 in a D11T is NOT a 3412, that is the engine from the D9L, D10N/R's. I have heard the 575 is 1070hp, but never having seen one I don't know.

  • this vid makes me want to dig some dirt

  • Cat is the best mark of machines of the world...

    No comparision...

  • I've run a variety of machines; Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo. I've operated Wheel Loaders made by Cat, Komatsu, and Volvo; I've operated Dozers made by Cat, and I've operated Trackhoes made by Cat and Komatsu. The largest loader I've operated is a Cat 980 (Series C, F, G, and G seriesII); Komatsu WA500, Volvo L220C, and Kawasaki 95 (which I don't particularly care for); The largest dozer I've operated is a Cat D8 which was pretty awesome! I've also operated a Cat 345 Trackhoe and Komatsu PC400.

  • I've run the D11 R Its a power house moves alot of dirt and will push straight up.

  • It is one animal!

  • Hells yeah! I've ran a D10 but it wasn't THAT big! Frickin awesome piece of machinery!

  • Yes, but a Cat D11 CD must be even more impressive, no? I shall soon have to try one and I am delighted at it!

  • Ya know that is some GREAT photo work. Every person that has ever pulled a lever gets a charge out of that footage. Now I don't understand the lingo....maybe the voice over is playing in reverse...just kiddin guys. But CAT and KOMATSU make the best Iron. If they ever teamed up you wouldn't see any diesel trash out there. The mechs would be like the Maytag repairman.

  • I hope that Caterpillar puts itself ave Komatsu, we no melange not no cloths and rags!

  • There are hundreds of these engines in our territory and they get rebuilt every 10,000 hrs, smartass.

  • Cheeky dirtbag , i only asked a civil question.

  • D11N 850hp 3508 engine, D11R 1000hp 3508 engine, and the new D11T is 850hp C32 3412 engine with dual overhead camshafts.

  • Analize the force distribution in caterpillar and Komatsu sprocket, the common sense indicate that the Komatsu sprocket transfers more power to the ground.

  • I like so much CAT, I have a D8N. although I dont undestood the video language, The Komatsu Tractor has some advanges like Hydraulic Steering, see when the CAT turns, it stops one caterpillar and the other continue rollling. But with the Komatsu both caterpillars roll but with different speeds. Also one controversial thing is the CAT sprocket I dont know if that has the advanges that Caterpillar allege.

  • muito louca esta maquina vou comprar uma pra mim brincar com ela

  • theres a cat dllr cd that has a big blade like komatsu

  • There are different blades depending on the material the machine was designed to push. for example, a "coal blade" for a D8 can be as big as a D11 blade since coal is so light. So you may have seen a D11 with a coal blade instead of a 'standard' U blade.

  • It is true but not only, Caterpillar is more reliable and rsistant than Konatsu...
