  • My favorite story of a legendary King. And Merlin was the greatest Sorcerer ever!

  • SABER!!!

  • nothing like retarded english history documentaries

  • Garn Boduan - Nefyn

  • I used to fight a lot like Arthur, until I took an arrow to the knee...

  • The story must have come from somewhere. It has such detail, from Gweniver and Lancealot, to Merlin and Morgana , and even Uther, and sword that had its own name. The details had to come from somewhere. No one person could have conjuered a story like that in those days. I wonder how this tale got started, and who was the first to tell it.

  • @spartan300n1 yeah you're right. no one could have come up with tales of wizards and divine-like heroes, godesess of beauty and 1-men armies back in the dark ages, they MUST be true. No one would have the imagination to make that up.

That's the logic I apply when arguing with my friends about the existence of unicorns, Jesus and dragons. Literally no one could come up with something as crazy as men walking on water and horses with horns, so it HAS to be true!!!

  • I'm sure King Arthur is based somewhat on reality

  • Alan Wilson and youtu.

  • hmmm, what a milf

  • I think the King Arthur story is a lot like the King David story. They probably existed, but they weren't the kind of magnificent kings that their legends claim. Their kingships are modeled after the kingships of the time the legends were written down. David and Solomon were modeled after the Assyrian kings of the 8th century BC, Arthur modeled after the British kings of the 12th century AD. They supposedly ruled during a golden age but they actually ruled during a DARK age, chaotic and anarchic

  • King Arthur was chieftain of the Dumnonii tribe that dated back way before the romans, and he fought the romans and saxons. King arthur was probably the greatish brythonic warrior ever but he never could unite all the barbarian tribes of britain he only united his own (Dumnonii) and the silures, demetia, some of his nieboring tribes, and the Bretons against the romans and later the saxons. I know this because my surname was the chieftain surname of the Dumnonii tribe.

  • The Legends are real. The Castle is the Castle at Questenberg, Germany. There is where you will find King Arthur's Castle.

  • Hmm,I believe this legend,is so special:)

  • Wow, what a load of misinformation!

  • Wow, what a load of misinformation!

  • One movie I watched was based on archeological findings of the real King Arthur. There was no Camelot, Guenevere and Merlin were both native British, Lancelot and Galahad were Sarmatian cavalry, and the real Round Table was on the boarder between England and Scotland. Merlin was only a stage magician, although his tricks were really good. Arthur was thought of as a heretic because he disagreed what was commonly believed at the time. All of the fights were pretty brutal.

  • The Merlin legend for example, is also (probably) a result of several druids or spiritual leaders during the dark ages,

  • "a 5th century blond bombshell" LOL

  • isn't it possible that Arthur wasn't really one man but really a culmination of the multiple individuals that led and helped the people. Maybe he was all thee of those candidates who where later remembered as one man.

  • @Piedpipper17 One thing is for sure: No man who was excatly like King Arthur in the legends, ever existed. However, someone (or several leaders) probably existed who gave the source of the legend. But as you write: it was probably not ONE single person, but several.

  • he is like king david. God established him to bring stability to a land in chaos. same with joan of arc, mary mother of jesus and others

  • @iorixs i like kitties

  • @Doom3695 well they dnt like you

  • cont... amphetamine effects, very strong amphetamine effects (beyond anything discovered by modern science). The result would be Arthur acting with super-human swiftness while his enemies appeared to be almost motionless to him.

  • the documents written at the time closest to the time of the events claim he killed 960 men in a single battle. He killed them personally not his men. If he killed one man per minute this would have been a 17 hour battle. Keep in mind that there was magic in these times (events that we may term quantum or extra-dimensional, perhaps extra-terrestrial in nature). At the very least Merlin/ alchemists/druids could provide drug like potions that would create magic like effects and perhaps ...cont
