My Cafe 88, Parramatta Leagues Club colleagues can't believe China won this match. Everybody thought Australia would sure win. As always, never underestimate your opponents.

In my opinion the biggest problem with Chinese team is that, the players don't have enough confidence in themselves, it seems as if there is some mental block. They have great players like Zheng Zi, Sun Xiang, and Sun Jihai. I remember 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship, where China played really good football. I think they have great potential...

It was pretty frustrating to watch. I go to Olyroo games too but when you go to see Australia play you want the best players on the pitch. Why is everyone talking up Djite? I haven't seen anything special yet.

Go, i didnt see the game, nor do i have foxtel, bt i listened to the game on ABC radio, and from what i heard we played kinda Shit, and that isnt good, seeing these guys will have to take over from the likes of Kewell, Viduka, Bresciano, Aloisi etc in a few years time.

No need to condemn them for a single 1-0 loss. Doesn't matter if we played poorly (I didn't watch it either)because it was almost a trial game for us, in terms of players and even formation (I think we played a 4-2-4) and you said it yourself, in a few "years" time....one bad game doesn't mean they're going to be this bad in years to come.
