There is no excuse by the medical community for the horror they have created. Without proper testing, these spinal injections of anesthetic compounds, steroid suspensions, dyes, etc. should be banned. Depo-Medrol is one such drug that also caused Arachnoiditis when accidentally administered intrathecally. I watched this video back in 2002 in horror & sadness as Bobby struggled with simply sitting. We all have you in our daily thoughts and prayers.

I couldn't watch, I know this pain. I have had to fight Workers Comp for 11 years. I pray for relief sometimes. The meds, workers comp are trying to take them. They are trying to take my treatment away by my Psyiatrist. So, now, I have to jump through hoops. Two different states, two different docs. They want to look at my damn records, and then then decide if I can con't treatment. ONE TIME VISITS. Damn,,,,,,,,,,God bless you Bonnie

This is exactly how I would feel without my pain medications 24/7. There really should be more research into this disease and how to slow it's progression or at least give us more relief. Without my medications and I have those nerve spasms I can't cry or make noise like her in the video. I can't even breathe until the nerve spasm passes. It's not just from epidurals. It can be caused by anything that injures the spinal cord and creates scar tissue.

You are not alone. I too suffer from arachnoiditis which was the result of a myelogram done prior to spinal surgery. I also suffer from Cauda Equina Syndrome due to the arachnoiditis as well I have developed several other conditions that left me disabled well before the age of 40. I truly feel your pain and wish I could do more then offer you words of encouragement but I know that sometimes there are good days and those are what I look forward to, hopefully you do to. hi I am so sorry for all the pain and sorrow u r going throgh. there is hope out there for u. im now 21 years old and have had arachnoiditis for over 2 years and was sufferring but my mom found dr. warnke in zwickau, Germany who does an epicospic surgery for arachnoiditis. I got the surgery done on may 6th and I was like u and now I am walking like nothing ever happen to me. Please wherever u r get this surgery done. It will help God Bless! u r in my prayers.

Pain attacks. The fear of pain attacks like the one she has in this video rule an arach sufferers life. I acquired arachnoiditis after receiving a laminectomy and I was NEVER told of the risks of having spinal surgery or that they would take minor pain and turn it into nightmarish. The other thing one feels is isolation therefore I am really grateful that this video is out there so that we may help others to understand what we are going through. God bless!

There needs to be so much more done to wake up the medical profession in regards to what they have done to us. It's so easy for them to say, "We've done our job. We've fixed you." we were moved to tears when we saw this video. I also suffer from chronic intractable pain and have had many MRIs. Recently I refused a contrast dye when I was having an MRI; it was difficult to hold my ground but I am glad I did. Congratulations and thanks to you for this video and what you are doing.
