What captivates me most in this song (in addtion to Linda's voice) is the mix of instruments. Steel guitar, bass guitar, vibraphone, marimba, and a drumset. That's it, unless I missed something.

I left the country and on my last return this month after 13 yrs. I just couldn't find the same seashore anymore. There are now beach resorts, houses and structures, the place has been transformed in just a little over 10 years. It's more beautiful now but I miss the old place. This song reminds me of that blue bayou.
