@ShoMeYaMoves even though you posted so long ago, let me post my take.

I would have to disagree w/u because I am good at the two (being SF, and BB) because of the familiar button inputs, and many other paradigms that apply to 2d fighting games. I would have to say also that the learning curve for blazblue is slight, making it accessible for anybody to jump in and win, which is a good point for BB, as then, I believe, It will achieve more success than its predecessor.

My comment didn't intentionally insinuate you can't be good at both, just that being good at Street Fighter won't make you automatically good at GG/BB.

Combofiend is a great SF player to be sure, but despite his familiarity with basic 2D fighting mechanics that both games share, I meant that in this fight he displays his ignorance of BB unique mechanics and tactics. (Neither of which could be gained from played SF.)
