Guys, what happened with this school was horrible and painful, but maybe it was really an accident, and the people who ordered this bombing is probably dead by now, that happened fourteen years ago and now we are in peace with israel. They never did anything to hurt us since the peace treaty. No one knows for sure that it wasn't an accident. We should all forget the past and concentrate on the future, and if it was really an accident then i hope israel won't make such mistake again.

Oh well, at least Egypt and Israel have okay diplomatic relations, so they can put this in the history bin. Hopefully Israel and the UAE will normalize relations.

the israeli airforce also attacked egyptian factory & many civilian targets in Egypt at that period with the same claims "accident".

In many wars factories get bombed because military powers believe weapons or other material helpful to the enemy are made in factories.
Speaking of the past wars I know many Egyptian pilots became very revered for their performance in the wars; i.e. Captain Khadr Abdullah (Flash Airlines).

these were NOT military factories, for example, in february 1970, the israeli airforce attacked the factory of "Abo Za'bal" which was producing chemical fertilizers killing 70 men. was that a "military factory"?!! or another "accident"?!! or war crime?!!

anyway, that factory was bombed in february 1970, Sadat bacame president after that with 8 monthes, in october 1970.

Sadat kept track of political events of the era, from the time when the British governed Egypt. I would imagine he talks about the factory bombing in his book. If I find that he does I will cite the page number and edition (English version). He also advised the Americans to watch Israel, saying that Israel doesn't always follow U.S. interests.

if u consider the CIVILIAN factories military targets, then isn't strange for the israelis to attack schools and other civilian targets!!! even it won't be strange for them to kill POWs like what they did with the egyptian POWs in 67.
