Hi projectdurden (below),sit in a barbers chair long enough and you will eventually get a hair-cut. Why would someone in recovery choose to be around drinkers...unless they had a valid reason? Thinking about it is as bad as doing it.....and it kills many people.

There is no "cure" for addiction,whether it be alcohol,prescription drugs or illicit drugs. Misleading title, as it says in this clip,alcoholism is a life-long disease.It is incurable,however,it may be arrested.A daily reprieve one day at a time. This word "cure" is total misrepresentation. it may look like this, but many alcoholics are ok around others, but binge drink every other night and are not married. i really think this video is misleading because anyone who is not a freak like the guy in video will not seak help.

what's the big deal? I say let people have their addictions and simply teach them how not to be assholes while addicted. Start a Responsible Addict Center (RAC) where one is trained to be a productive, non-destructive, happy addict.

@dirtdemon6 I agree 100% I quit alcohol 19 years ago because I was losing my essence. Beverage ethanol is a central nervous system depressant. It also damages the brain, heart, liver. What we call alcohol is actually ethanol. We use it to run our cars and lawn mowers.

Wow 85% success rate thats crazy AA has estimated 3% success rate. I had a couple of friends do this program and the changes these people had were amazing. Its was like they were completely different people.
