The red hen is most probably New Hampshire Red and not Rhode Island(which has a black tail)

@aggresiveskater419 Chickens aren't racist. They don't fight based on race. However, some races tend to be more aggressive than others. As long as you have hens, and not a ton of roosters though, they should be fine. :)

You best check the laws of where you live, but I have chickens and the only rules are no more than 25 chickens and they must be 50ft away from an occupied house, in a residential area anyway. It's generally not illegal.

My black australorp got killed by a hawk a few days ago =[ I look at your's and think of how pretty she would have been.

But on a brighter note; I do the same thing with my chickens. They love to jump and grab grass from my hand xD
