I wonder what a studio version of this song would be like , cuz u can tell by the kind of effects tom uses that they just wouldn't be the same in the studio. But the riff he pulls off at the ebd of the bridge is amazing!!!
The "Icons" got celebrated by MTV and popular musicians like blink-182 covered their songs. The coolest thing about that was playing those covers in a way the band would do (e.g. like blink-182 in poppunk-style or limp bizkit in numetal-style). It was not about sounding exactly like the "Icons". Just watch a few performances from Metallica's MTV Icon show.
