First off, calm down.

Second, just because a gun is burst doesn't mean you need to actually burst fire it. Just tapping the trigger will still let out a single shot like it would if it was automatic. Only when you would hold down the trigger should it go burst fire.

Third, I think there was no two round burst and the single shot at the end was due to the fact that he ran out of ammo and only one bullet was left.

I was just going by what it looks and sounds like in this video. I think it is auto purely because the last round of the clip at 5:07 is one shot. The M16 was 3 round burst and if i remember correctly it's clip size was a multiple of 3. It always shot 3 shots at a time.
