The art style is really bugging me. The movement sprites are chibi, and the battle models look mildly chibi as well. Not to mention the character design has gone from fairly authentic medieval characters to overly-generic anime characters with odd, unnecessary clothing.
But still, Fire Emblem is my favorite Turn-based strategy by far!
My biggest concern is difficulty, It already looks way too easy, after beating H5 in shadow dragon and Thracia 776, I have to be challenged or else its no fun.
this is even better than radiant dawn! to think all the characters looked like anime characters in the other fire emblem games?! to think radiant dawn was more advanced?! well this one is even better than all the other fire emblem games! they actually look like anime characters, and their actually moving and not just standing their like paper dolls like in path of radiance and radiant dawn!

@Lyonharvestmoonfan I wouldn't be that sure. We didn't get Shin Monshō no Nazo, so there is a chance we won't get Kakusei. Besides, Nintendo has announced it has an European release scheduled, but no word on America.
Don't get me wrong, I WANT Kakusei to be released in America, but my disappointment with not getting Shin Monshō no Nazo prevents me from being optimistic.
Lovin' the battle animations. Best ones I've seen on a 3D fire emblem yet. Nothing can top some of the game boy ones though- Warrior tornado anyone?

@barry577 In all the games of the Fire Emblem series when one of your units get killed they disappear from the game. If an important character for the story like Soren from Fire Emblem Path of Radiance is killed they will still appear in the story but you can''t use them any more.
@Lyonharvestmoonfan PoR was my first Fire Emblem game- and Soren happened to be the first character I lost... but I didn't know the consequences. Let's just say my second playthrough I realized how much of a boss he is.
@barry577 its been years since I've played sacred stones but I recall one of my paladins dying but then like way, way, way later in the game he came back which is odd for a Fire Emblem game lol, so I think for that game at least, a falllen ally comes back after you do a certain number of battles maybe, or I encountered a wonderful glitch, either way :p
@barry577 You cannot unfortunately, this game is all about strategy and not pushing your units too hard.
I recommend you to save a another file of the same gameplay before attempting a new chapter, so that if you fail you can do it right next time without starting the whole game.
BTW this new game will feature a "casual mode" that prevents unit to be dead for good.

I love the dual-attack feature, feels like a much more interesting version of the support system from previous titles. And the cut-ins before a crit or skill give it that nice flashy J-rpg feel.
There's also supposed to be a good bit of voice acting as well, which slightly worries me because the voice acting during the cinematics in Radiant Dawn was quite... not so convincing. Also DLC! :D
I heard there being Co-op in this game...I'm not to sure how is gonna work....wouldn't mind if they did a separate Co-op campaign type of thing, that sounds cool to me. But no matter what they do as long as it comes out in U.S I'm fine.

i like the team ups but the art and chibi sprites when battling throws me off because when i think of chibi i think of cute things not soldiers killing eachother, and the anime art doesnt seem very fire emblem anymore, i mean dont get me wrong i LOVE anime but it just doesnt have the same effect on me, nevertheless i'll still buy this game if it gets in the u.s.
