What a brave and graceful woman, she gives met the chills, warms my heart and reminds me of the tremendous inner strength that is harboured within each and every one of us.
I saw Nina's concerts from the beginning, and she would mention Lisa occasionally. It's amazing to see her now for the first time, and to hear her powerful, authoritative singing.
I love yur guts so much I can't stand it. This made my favorite list. YOU ARE THE SUM TOTAL... I'm so glad he found us. We continue this journey as soldiers, shoulder to shoulder, and we do it with grace. I am proud you are my sister. (Hopefully you'll read this)

There's a difference between "leaning" on her mother and HONORING her mother's legacy. Simone has already had a wonderful career--thankfully Simone is allowing us to continue the tradition of Nina Simone, in a fresh new way.
