they closed the toad hole and put the light water wheel there

this was devil's cascade years before, i remember going on it when it first opened

Toad Hole closed because it was old and had poor throughput. The plan was always to close it but a boat derail cut short what time it had left.

The condition of the splash pond didn't have anything to do with the removal.
