again; i bought a new kimber pro crimson carry ll. i finally decided to use the lazer after 6 months? it was off by a mile. i went to use the allen tools that came with it but the top screw was allready stripped......WTH''
Here's the downside to it though. At close range, the point of impact won't be too significantly off. But at longer distances, that laser dot is going to way overstate the point of impact, since it it actually pointed at a slightly upward elevation.
@Garuda1337 On a self defense hand gun, are your threats close? or long distance? Also when threatened are
you trying to hit a small round target dot, or a 20" by 20" chest?
Is time on your side? or is instinct and acquisition needed quickly? Laser Sights are a up close quick instinctive life saving device ten feet will be probably long distance?
If you are a long distance target shooter simply use your iron sights. If you like to protect yourself when Car jacked? try Laser grips.
When CT gets off their butts and makes a laser for my hk usp .45's, I'll buy two. If CT made a laser for the fnp .45 first, I might buy two of those. Love the sights, but disappointed with the limited selection. It sure would be nice if I and many others could buy more of their product.
".. I have a green laser on my shotgun and a red laser light combo on my glock rail" BA HA HA, seriously... you lost badly. You can't even READ cocksmoker... ha ha ha, somebody show the loser the door... two misquotes from an angry cocksmoker. Later, cocksmoker.
@12GaugeLosAngeles My 930 has both laser & optics...you are foolish if you think this is not an advantage. All my weapons have some form of optics and laser systems that advance my personal weapons system.
4.5MW or 5MW, your confused? Who said i used a green laser? When you make up lies, show your sissy fits is killing you inside.. I have a green laser on my shotgun and a red laser light combo on my glock rail... somebody show the loser the penalty box for crying.. just put you head down and walk away in shame loser.... major fud.
5MW is whats legal to make dumbass, lost twice there... and green and red lasers can't be compared dumbass... one you see for 20 feet, other you see for 2 miles... lost there again. Go pay 200$ for a cheap tactical swapmeet laser with a cool name. Ha ha, plus red is in the far corners of the color spectrum so they are harder to pick up compared to green which is near the spectrum.. i had to drop facts to shut you up, 3 strikes mam, and your out! You lost bad, later loser.
comparing a green laser that uses cr123a lithium batteries to a cheap ass red laser with butto cell batteries your comparing a weak laser with a weak battery to a more powerful laser easier to see from far and has a brighter beam. sorry, you lost.
get a veridian green laser, only $200 with a led combo, crimson uses a cheap red laser worth $15 and charges $300 for the grip design, buy a cheap swapmeet laser, and compare it to a crimson trace, my NcStar green laser is only 70$ and it's a 5MW, the red laser costs $350 and it's CHEAP, go green or go home.
Just put these on my Sig P229 and love them. Only wish there was some sort of inside cover to keep the exposed areas of the inside of the grips from getting dirty from shooting. They are very exposed from the mag well. Otherwise, great product !
how well does this hold zero from shooting to abuse? I wanna get one, but would hate to spend $ and not do what i want.

Thanks, Joe, You and CT. This is very informative. Now, if I could figure out how to clean my weapon without having to take the grips off.
