I saw Whiplash back in 1986 and they did kick ass. I also looked at those VSD vids mentioned in an earlier post and that is some heavy shit. That song " Conformity Sucks" is fast and heavy and I loved the monster riff to "Kill your Kids". VSD rocks.

Saw Whiplash in Baltimore at the defunct but truly classic venue, the Loft, on the corner of Eutaw and Mulberry Streets. Baltimore's metal band VSD opened for them and the guys from Whiplash were in the crowd headbanging and moshing it up.
