  • It looks like a bad lifting environment. I try to do Oly lifting at my local gym but I get mad hate from people. That just seals my fate and reinforces me into failing every lift. It's always those personal trainer fags who are bad vibin' me also.

  • @nicholasbrunello it's true, it can be tricky to lift in a regular gym, but now they are friendly to my stuff, and my O-lifts took off :)

  • Also, weightlifting shoes are a must when you get to these weights.

  • Hey Richard :) You're not finishing your pull to full extension so youre trying to get under it too early. Thats why you are losing it in front of you. Good speed though, if you finish your pulls you will be able to add poundage :) Hope that helps (I had the same problem a couple of months ago and since correcting it, my snatch has gone from 75kg to 90kg and it isnt because im any stronger.   • Damn Dom, from 75 to 90kg ? That's awesome ! You need to film some, I need to copy that :D My PR is 5kg from bodyweight now, I envy you.

    You are right, I try to go under to early, I'll focus on that. I'm sure everything will feel more stable once I got the oly shoes, I ordered some that should come next week.

  • keep working brother, i know you can do it. hey also, just a little advice. go get you some olympic lifting shoes. you will see how much they will help with your oly's compared to the soft sneaker type soles.
