  • @SmokinKush14 lol i know i seen that movie yesterday thats y i was asking lol

  • im prettty sure it was eddie vedder at the end

  • john c reily didnt die dewey did and he is fictional so wth!!!!

  • can any of you queers explain that why after watching the "Walk Hard" dvd, you skip past the credits, there's a 30sec. short of a guy singing the main song, and there's words at the corner of the screen saying "The real Dewey Cox, San Francisco California, April 16, 2002" wtf, it's not John C. Reiley either, it's some new guy singing the "Walk Hard" song, with a different voice and all; is he a real guy or what?

  • @Kompton187

Dewey Cox isn't real. Never was real. I think that it is John C. Reiley just with more make-up and stuff. the movie was making fun of Walk The Line which is a memoir about Johnny Cash.

  • RIP

    He was a musical legend.

  • To all the haters saying Dewey Cox wasn't real, I assure you he was quite real. I got to see him in concert at one of his last performances. I wasn't familiar with his music before but being exposed to Cox that night changed my life. Where were you when you got your first taste of Cox?

  • @toddsmitts You might be surprised to know this, but John C. Reilly went on tour in character to promote the movie and practice getting in character for this movie.

  • wow...to all the people who think dewey cox is a made up person thats just insulting... he WAS a real person, a great inspiriation and a REAL person..

  • @MrPhish21 I really hope you mean within the context that the character was inspirational.

  • I find it hilarious that almost every Dewey Cox video i see some idiot that actually thinks Dewey Cox was a real person lol its a parody movie to walk the line people .. come on haha

  • "I should have realized how easy it is to cut someone in half with a machete." This movie has GREAT quotes.

  • THE WRONG KID DIED.

  • I LOVE singing this song!

  • hahahahah any dumbass that believes there's a real dewey cox is retarded. every stage the dewey does in that movie is making fun of someone.

  • i wish he was real...

  • As Walk Hard heavily references the film Walk the Line, the Dewey Cox persona is mostly based on Johnny Cash; but the character also includes elements of the life and career of Glen Campbell, Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis, Donovan , Brian Wilson and Jim Morrison.

  • Oh and the quote is from hollywood(dot)com

  • What do you mea Dewey Cox is not real? Dewey Cox was real? It was Roy Orbison who was made-up.

  • Why so many people watching this video think Dewey Cox was a real person?

  • @GLEESON777 - Because a lot stupid people who watched this not realizing it's a parody. Great movie the soundtrack was comical and enjoyable Recommend this movie. OKAY EVERYONE Since Most of you don't realize DEWEY COX represented in the Dewey Cox VIDEO is non existent i'll clear that up for you. Yes there is probably a real person who is named Dewey Cox but The Dewey Cox from Walk Hard is John C. Reily An ACTOR. Walk hard is a parody of Walk the Line as Valader89 Said Earlier

  • RIP Dewey Cox.

  • bet song for meeee

  • post the song the plays in the credits please! This movie is one of my all time favorite comedies.

  • This isnt because i wanna make a hate mail, but if you're making an r.i.p vid for dewey cox, then why not use pictures of the real dewey cox?, thats an actor u are showing there

  • @Stewerrvideos because Dewey Cox is not a real person.

  • @Valader89 in the movie credits they show the real dewey cox?

  • @Stewerrvideos No Sorry, they don't . This movie is making fun of another movie Walk The Line which is based on Johnny Cash who is a real, person. Dewey Cox is not real.

  • Ok... But they show an old man in the end of the credits the call Dewey cox:D!

  • @Stewerrvideos yeah, they show John C. Reilly again, but dressed to appear old, and they change his voice, so as to give the impression that he was a real person. watch it again, and you'll see it's the exact same actor.

  • @Stewerrvideos He's just an actor. Dewey Cox, does not exit.

  • @Valader89 yeah dewey cox is an actual person fuck nut

  • @420gump Hey Fuck-Nut, "While clearly a minority, some people still need the following clarification: Dewey Cox (John C. Reilly) is not, and never was, a real person, and Walk Hard is not his biopic. Going in with the knowledge that this is, in fact, a spoof music biopic (primarily taking aim at Walk the Line) makes the movie a whole lot more enjoyable." Sorry to make you feel like a complete fucking idiot. But you called someone out, so, you pretty much deserve this.

  • @Valader89 hahahahahahahahahaha

  • @Valader89 no dewey cox is a real man... he was a real artist and lived

  • @Valader89 lol, this must be a piss take! Dewey Cox is real I met him! Never forget it!

  • @Stewerrvideos Its supposed to be FUNNY. Satire, humor, you know ...LOL??

If you have any belief ever that that movie is based on anything but tickling your funny bone you are in la la land.

  • @Stewerrvideos there is no reall dewey lol lik real life im sayin only in the movie

  • @Stewerrvideos lol that was still john c reily

  • @Valader89 pwnd, how could he think that? xD

  • @Stewerrvideos HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!

  • someone needs to upload the rest ofthe second song. the next line after it ends in the video is "noo, say it isn't so! dewey cox died?"

    its awesome

  • heart attack

  • @ilovenat02

Fell out of a tree. Fell upon his head.

  • I learned everything I need to know about life from Dewey Cox. Oh, and he's my dad.

  • I find it hilarious that he is singing the song about his death rofl

  • i want to find the 'have you heard the news' parody song on its own, the full version that played during the credits of the movie, but cant find it anywhere.

    anyone know ?

  • @mypooptube Myspace music is actually a pretty decent source. Thats where I listen to that song.

  • @mypooptube The Walk Hard Soundtrack.

  • @mypooptube I just found it on iTunes :)

  • check this out, i fell asleep to have u herd the news, and at that transition between sleep and awake, i dreampt of people being tortured...anywasy...i didnt havea good day :/ but i love the song :D

  • i like the dying song the most

  • "Have you heard the news" is my favorite song. even on top of guilty as charged

  • Some of these songs are actually good, but Have you heard the news was suprisingly moving at the end

  • Isn't Have You Heard The News a parody of a real song with the same message?

  • freaking lurveee that movie (LLLLLL)!

  • great song but there ones about him dying and how every1 misses him

  • I love that movie

    Great Job!
