The fire dept wouldn't douse the water w/ the electricity on. I've never heard of a fire dept doing that. It's possible the electricity could have popped back on a for a second and caused the explosion in which case it's a wonder no one was hurt! lol
From what I understand, the FD has three different types of additives/chemicals that they can filter into the water lines for various types of fires. I am assuming that they used one for electrical fires, but then again, the water itself could have been the reason for the huge explosion at the end.
Why in hell are those firefighters spraying water up into the fault? How did the one on the hose get so lucky as to not have the current travel down the stream and kill him?
