do you have the k-os track that uses the same sample as tribe called quest's lyrics to go remix?....i remember mastermind played it in 95 only once and it was an unreleased ttrack...thats in toronto by the way
I don't know about all of them, but K-os has an album called "Early Works and Remixes". I don't know if it's an official release or just something someone put together. Can't remember what blog I got it from, but you should be able to find it you look around! Peace
yeah, he is so amazing and very unappreciated. He actually has a lot of talent unlike some other rappers. So unique. I reaaly cannot wait for his new album.
I rmemeber him saying he thought his music seemed pretentious back in the day so he was dissatisfied. Kinda weird because I feel as if his stuff from 'exit' onward has been a bit pretentious. I stille have love for K but I mean if you write in your songs that you hate gangster posturings and do shit for 'real hip hop' like yours is the ONLY way to go, I'd say that;s more pretentious than a song like this.
now if that wasn't stevie wonder influenced, i don't know what it.

thank you so much for all these k-os songs that are rare and unreleased
..
ive just spent a good 2 hours listening to them all.
i love this guy.. very smart man & speaks from the heart.. a positive message in hip-hop never hurts, to say the least.
he came to my university a couple years back, unbelievable concert even when it wasn't a very packed crowd.

I don't know why he was dissatisfied with his music and so insecure back then. He had a great voice and probably could have had some hits back then
