I look at religion like this. A kid grows up and his parents give them the car they were saving for them. While they were growing up, they were told how great it is, it is the fastest one ever and if you ever drive anything else you will be a sinner against the car and will be judged. There is either two kids, the one that believes what their parents tells them unquestionably, or one that takes the chance to test out other cars to see if their parents were right or not.
I am one that was raised christian/catholic and when I left home I experienced many different religions and beliefs. Not a single one has any credibility as the 'true religion'. I look at religion like this. A kid grows up and his parents give them the car they were saving for them. While they were growing up, they were told how great it is, it is the fastest one ever and if you ever drive anything else you will be a sinner against the car and will be judged. There is either two kids, the one that believes what their parents tells them unquestionably, or one that takes the chance to test out other cars to see if their parents were right or not.

I am one that was raised christian/catholic and when I left home I experienced many different religions and beliefs. Not a single one has any credibility as the 'true religion'. It's all bullshit and lies. Their stories can all cross and I believe they are all versions and spin offs of each other. Kinda like when one person tells a story and passes it on. By the end of the line, the story is convoluted. I believe in some higher power, but I don't believe in religion as its all hearsay.
