AAAAGGGH! every time i ram someone really hard in the rear, nothing happens. so then i try to pull up beside them and either the stretch of road comes to a turn or i spin out with him and end up in dead last!!!

i think trying to get the fcking 4 spin outs i almost suicide today and the best part is i didnt even get the stupid spin outs whoever invented that requierement for the star could die rigth know and i would feel happy ):I

Buy the Porsche Cayman S and upgrade everything to the highest it can go. Then just ram them from behind. I did it the 2nd try

I used these tactics to get it done:

When you go for a spin-out, ALWAYS make sure you keep your opponent ON the track. Don't knock them off the track, otherwise it'll be classed as a tap out in most cases.

Also, you don't have to ram them at high speed. You can be in second/third gear, and gently tap their rear quarter panel from the side, then keep steering until they turn side on and get pushed behind you.

Make sure you don't have brake assist on, as it fucks you over at the bends.

Well, after watching the rest of the video, did you get the star from that race? As I only saw 2 spin outs and in both you spun as well, and the star info at menu says that "Spin out opponent without spinning yourself" I don't remember the exact words but the same meaning anyway..

I use "Professional mode" and no assists, not even TC nor ABS, the only options which can make the driving interesting and challenging, but then wheel is a must.. But the game has strange way to count points and badges, like tone said (the only comment from him which made sense, without unnecessary insulting of families) that those doesn't count as spin outs to points but still you get the star.. And the handling of the car isn't realistic in drifting mode, it's just too sensitive and slippery.

how come you ppl drive so good on shift? i suck and i'm normally a beast at driving cars in games like Gran Turismo, Midnight Club, Need For Speed, Juiced, GTA.. i suck at shift. u wanna take of all the assists since they suck and cant let you drive good but then when i take it off i need some of it cuz i easily spin out or hit walls! it impossible to have GREAT grip and not slide or go crazy or whatever. it hard in this game... NFSU2 was better :(

I have the same problem, i need to use no steering assist and low brake assist to drive good... You cant make harsh changes to the direction of the car... i use a wheel so its a lil easier
