  • I kept asking myself, didn't they know what was going to happen? Apparently the protesters didn't. Only the minority of vandals among them, and the police knew. That's just wrong.

  • The question is asked, will there be any accountability for the police acting outside the law.

Answer, as long as banks and corporations own the politicians that should be working for the people and by the people, there will be no personal bank and corporate armies held accountable for their illegal actions

  • How do you become an Ombudsmen?

It is my impression an Ombudsmen is tainted by the same dirty filthy paint brush as the corrupt council they over look.

    English laws seem corrupt.

I have never seen anything like it.In English ruled countries is you need to file a complaint about your local corrupt council, you can't even go to the police for protection

Councils in English ruled countries possess unbelieveable powers. They actually completely own entire cities

  • Wait until they Implement MARTIAL LAW in America REX=84, Operation Garden Plot,

we have 825 Prisons see film CAMP FEMA,

The Same BaNKING FAMILIES that own the FEDERAL RESERVE Financed HITLER see film FIAT EMPIRE, they start WARS then Finance eachside and Rebuilding,

Have the World DRUGGED with RAT POISON in Soft Drinks see wwwFLUORIDEACTIONnet,

  • this guy is useless, paul should have interviewed someone else.

  • REMEMBER THE CRACKDOWN ON DISSENT IN CANADA AT APEC IN 1997?

  • Paul Jay.....EXCELLENT!

  • The real concern should be the fact that the people we put in power to communicate the "Truth" to us the politicians as well as the Police Chief and others deliberately chose to misrepresent the truth regarding the laws. When the police and others put in charge chose to move closer to the very element they were put in place to protect us from, that truly is a horrendous abuse of trust and of power. A sad comentary on power and authority which has lowered everyones "Respect" for our Leaders?

  • Wow. What a disappointment Marin and his inquiry has turned out to be. So, so disappointing.

  • EXACTLY!! THE LAW WAS SECRET FROM THE PUBLIC, SO THE ARRESTS WERE A PART OF THE PLAN. wow

  • The whole G20 just made Canada look like a fucking 3rd world country. Everybody who was involved in trashing stuff should be ashamed.

  • @ladyloowho go fly a kite lady

the police should be the ones ashamed here. you people never cease to amaze me in your sheepishness.

  • @wh306 Lady? I'm a 17 year old guy.. The police too should be ashamed, but if the people weren't acting like animals then it wouldn't have gotten so out of control. Ontario made Canada look like a 3rd world country, and this whole thing shouldn't have happened. People took it WAY to far.

  • @ladyloowho dude with lady in his name.., they have admitted they planted undercover police to start the riots, go learn something man u got alot to learn..

  • Great work!

  • That's one of the goals of the NWO. To get rid of sovereignty in all countires, meaning no citizen has protection in law. Meaning they lose their civil rights. Sovereign law will be replaced by corporate law. That is you are to serve and work for corporations. You are to be a slave with no rights. Middle class is to be removed. Global elites want to get rid of sovereignty. Global elites and bankers want to protect their interests - they are not interested in individuals' rights.

  • Were the police infiltrators front and centre in the vandalism that happened on Yonge Street? You have to wonder. There has been so much obfuscation and outright lying on the part of the police and Police Chief Blair that I don't think that we have even half of the truth yet. I am sick about what has happened here, in the city I was born in. The agenda behind these events must be exposed.

  • So this guy comes out strong, then backs away from any semblance of passing blame, or assinging culpability.

Why are they talking about the reelection of the chief of police, he should be in Jail.

  • Great work Paul.

  • A C A B

  • The sad and obvious result of the G20 mess is that many more people do not trust police or Ombudsman that wait a year to state that we have rights.

  • Of course the RCMP is not involved in this crimminal police action. If they were everyone would have been tazered to death.

  • Thank you! Please keep it up.The G20 in Toronto was a symptom of something much greater.People need to realize that it is occasions such as this that display how far out of our hands our lives have become.

  • That was a uber cool interview Paul ! Your always on your game but this was jaw dropping . Best wishes to you, ur crew , n loved ones .

  • man...i thought he was going to do something...don't worry, they're gonna get rid of the public works protection act. don't bother to check out harpers omnibus bill...nothing in there at aaaalllll, nope.

  • why label something a "conspiracy theory"??? they are giving you proof something is gravely wrong and there must be a reason for it other than "is just a huge error"

  • @SolidGaby you don't have to be crazy to believe some conspiracies.

  • Identification is required with reasonable suspicion, not probable cause--At least in the US

  • @crawfordviolin Obligation to respond to a requirement can only be defined by mutual accord. Such accord in this case cannot be agreed upon if the conditions are hidden. We are ruled (regulated) by consent; by contract. A secret or un-agreed change in a contract is a illegal. It's not really that hard in this case to understand the police officers where in breach (unwittingly).

  • This are foul works of the end times. The coming is near my sheep. Follow thine leader into salvation or risk famine.

    PastorPeter

  • the vandalism guys have black hoods on and are most likely cops giving other cops an excuse to beat the hell out of protestors. thats the way the gestapo works.

  • It was an abuse of power. NO SHIT. lol

  • in the words of george carlin we have no rights, only privelages

  • i am curious about the snatch and grab. For that type of action does not seem like a logical nor effective tactic to quell a rebellious crowd. It was obviously a coordinated effort and must or required logical rational to get people to agree to it. What was that rational? To cause fear among the protesters?(terrorism) To pull an asset out to gain information. Did they receive preferential treatment because some one had special interest in them? very curious actions.

  • The G20 arrests were not a "mistake" but cold calculated policy. Marin does not seem to acknowledge this. Also he is either supremely naive or engaging in blatant PR when he says that he believes Ontario will voluntarily revoke the Public Works Protection Act. Hell, McGuinty won't even be in power in a few months and Hudak sure as hell won't revoke such a draconian piece of legislation - why? Because conservatives LOVE harsh security measures!

  • Those teenagers breaking windows with the CTV crew following along with them.

  • A little paranoia for "safety and security" a few decades ago is now matured enough to be taken advantage of to do exactly what people fear the most. Power should not be given away or rather it should never be allocated in such a manner.

  • Unless heads roll and people are fired, this will happen again. Mark my words.

  • One of the best interviews you have done to date!

    EXCELLENCE!

  • We promise it wont do happen again... but were not going to change legislation... shit is ludacris.

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." -JFK

  • THOSE SO CALLED ELITE POWERES THAT ATTENDED THE SUMMIT CALLED THE SHOOTS ON THIS ONE AND WATCHED BACK AND SEEN HOW IT WOULD UNFOLD WHEN MARTIAL KLAW IS ABOUT TO GO VIRAL ON THE WHOLE EARTH! THIS WAS A TEST TO SEE HOW IT WAS TO ALL UNFOLD IN THE FUTURE OR WHEN A FALSE FLAG IS NEXT TO PLAY OUT,JUST WATCH....

  • @sabrom --still, look for vids of the new Spain revolution. millions are camped out protesting going on 3 montbs (I think). there are so many the riot police cannot stop them. WE OUTNUMBER THEM. peace.

  • pure "bait and switch" weekend

  • scumbag pigs mak me sick....... payback soon...

  • isn't it funny when there is a communication breakdown between two people facing each other when they start talking about communication breakdown...

  • There were also undercover police instigating damage and violence. That is completely uncalled for when you have police picking up bricks and rocks to smash things.

  • Thank you real news... We NEED u here in Canada... Continue the great work.

  • @besner I think we need him just a little more here LOL

  • What I heard was "Spilled milk, sorry! We will not let it happen again." That is unacceptable, somebody(s) needs to loose their job and/or go to jail. This type of behavior cannot go unpunished!!!!!!!

  • @captcrais101 Not if you're an adult.

  • why do they always have these meetings in the city and not in the country in the middle of no ware is it because the leaders in the meeting want it there so they can enjoy them self's on there holiday to Canada its inconvenient cause they cant have there night out on the town at the tax payers expense when they had the meeting in the city it involves innocent people that are just doing there everyday thing downtown and it puts the store owners at risk for there stores to get broken into

  • Its a shame that people focus on the vandalism of a few dozen individuals amounting to a few million dollars (which was focused at corporate buildings not public or "mom and pop shops - I saw this first hand) . , while at the same time the people responsible for the Gulf oil spill which cost billions and devastated an entire ocean ecosystem go unpunished and ignored. Democracy CANNOT function without an educated public. Our society is not very educated.

  • @kennegun --here, here! you are so right. the press wants to vilianize anyone who protests agains the coming police state and the common people being crushed into poverty all over the world by the elite banking crime synidicate. check out: MrTakeBackAmerica channel on youtube.

  • @kennegun What million dollar damage? A pane of glass is a few hundred dollars damage. Pocket change compared to the billon dollar "sercurity" budget.

  • @kennegun That's why your society is NOT a democracy but a corporacy.

  • @kennegun i tend to disagree in the sense that it's not an issue of ignorance in as much as for most a direction to go.

the elite have the money, the laws, courts, police,...

p.s. ombudsman is a muppet with bad skill in covering obvious lies.

  • @kennegun Education only goes so far, when you have some of the most CONFIDENT people with the LOWEST forms of education. No, I don't mean college or that bullshit, I mean they can't form a thought that doesn't consider all points of view. Just the ones, the "officials" tell them to believe in.

  • @kennegun - Vandalism to the tune of "a few million dollars" is way over the limit for societal tolerance. Sorry buddy - lock 'em up.

  • Wow, is this an upstanding, law abiding man in the system? How on earth did they let him get the job?

    Respect to Andre Marin.

  • What the police tried to do was prevent another Seattle type riot, and the only way to do that is to suspend civil liberties.

  • @kennegun you are retarded

  • @kennegun No it's not.

And furthermore, the police IGNORED the only riot that took place that weekend. The only people rounded up and beaten (which, by the way, is ALWAYS illegal), were people who had broken no laws at all (in fact, many had NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PROTESTS).

  • @BoredomCorner

On the surface, and technically you are 100 percent correct. However, look deeper and the real "riot" was ordinary citizens acknowledging, standing up and taking action against government & corporate corruption. This is what they (ppl in power) most fear, not a bunch of hooligans venting their frustration. The G20 could of been held anywhere remote, why in the middle of a city? because they want to gauge the complacency of the population. Apathy will lead to exploitation.

  • Let's face it folks, every so-called democratic western country has contingency plans in place for public unrest, applied when the people forget their place & start to look like they mean business by taking to the streets in mass protests.

You see it in all the conservative, pro-Israel 'democracies' & it's part of the toxic influence of Zionism on these 'democracies'. Lanterns & pitchforks are a quaint idea but they're a thing of the past.

Nowadays it's goons in black armor kettling our kids.

  • Yes of course, anything questionable is a conspiracy theory.

When the term conspiracy theory is used, we can be sure that a cover up is taking place.

  • Amazing Investigative journalism Paul... Really, haven't seen this quality of interview anywhere in a long time!

It's absolutely clear the ombudsman doesn't want to investigate this matter, because he realizes how far up the food chain this goes...

What he calls "Conspiracy Theory" he knows perfectly well from his expression is Conspiracy Fact"

Our elected officials neither have the will or courage to stand up for whats right anymore...

Excellent Interview! Pls keep em coming!

  • too little too late!

  • This is important to clarify - One-thousand people were rounded up - like cattle (or is it chattel?) - for the sole purpose of being herded through the state's specially-manufactured warehouse-detention center.

Is it hard to imagine the state's kafkaesque desire to get operational data for future "warehousing"? Part of bringing this billion-dollar "Frankenstein" apparatus to-life was the abundant use of "jacked-up" riot squads to violently apprehend (Kettle and kollect) the "volunteers".

  • The truth shall set us free. In the mean time if someone anyone is violating your feedoms...you have the right to defend yourself by any means necessary. Rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Freedom is everything fuck the G20

  • Having an ombudsman of this quality is just a crying shame, he comes off as functionally-impaired from an intelligence point of view but also completely pro-police when he should be on the side of the people, squarely. A pathetic excuse for a representative.

  • This clown says this was a "misunderstanding" (on both sides, ostensibly!), and it's abundantly clear from his mannerisms that he's being disingenuous, as though someone got to him (no excuse). The bottom line is, if it wasn't for Real News or Press For Truth (weavingspider on youtube) this travesty wouldn't be getting ANY mention in the press. This is the kind of miscarriage that should cost government employees and administrators their livelihoods, not to mention the respect of the community.

  • @slewofdamascus The money that went into this G20 preparation should be returned do do misfeasance and any damages to citizens should come out of those funds.

  • How do you have a breakdown in communications? Cops do not use the frikin phone line to communicate between one another they use radio, dial a frequency and you are in touch, period.

Having spoken to a few journalists that were at the scene, they all report the police abandoning their vehicles, then they formed a line a block away and observed the mayhem, this is confirmed on video, there was no fence present.

  • They were searching people well away from the "perimeter zone" I mean this was city-wide crackdown, furthermore, people were kidnapped and brutalized with intimidation and rape (for a source-link, please ask), in one case, a late-20s male walked by some cops and said innocently, "good luck this weekend". He got in a cab, which was stopped by police and he was inexplicably taken into custody. He was taken to a station, strip-searched/raped, after which he was questioned (intimidated) and released

  • He really down played your question about their Subpoena powers to get blair in, pretty much tells us they couldn't Subpoena him hence why they never tried, why would you not get the head guy in ....

  • Conspriacy theory my ass, that group was given a free pass to trash stuff.

  • @TheAsfaloth Agreed. Since when do anarchists where uniforms?

  • @TheAsfaloth What group was given a free pass?

  • @TheAsfaloth I vividly recall watching the Black Bloc just stroll by the cops, on the news coverage. Funny how no one pointed it out...

  • @TheAsfaloth these dressed in black burning cops cars and breaking windows all wearing police boots and the riot police would back off seems like a trick or theses people the black group i feel they were police to give protesters a bad name

  • 1939???
