  • i wish i knew the girl jedi in the video imagine having a girlfriend like that

  • Good story! It takes a lot to impress me, but that was well thought out and quite original!

  • Great plot !! Great special effects !! Great lightsaber duels !! Great video !!

In my personal choice I would had pick the girl... I would be like forget the Jedi order !! That chick is so hot !! ^ ^ hahaha

  • kind of reminds me of the relationship between Ben Skywalker and Vestara Khai in the Fate of the Jedi novels.

  • wow this is great! 5 stars! fighting was good, the lightsaber effects were great, and the acting was good! you should make a third

  • nicely done

  • Thanks. We worked hard on it.

  • @alistarfilms how long did it took do do that film?

  • im sorry i know im wrong but i have to ask isnt this a book and also when the guy was pinned down by the double saber girl when the force thrown lightsaber returned to its owner i randomly said out loud haa bearded guy

  • It's not a book.

  • @alistarfilms ya. it is a book and i know what this kids talking about but this film's not remotely related to the book. just thought id clear that up.

  • @michael1whitfield2

There are a lot of Star Wars stories in the canon that are somewhat similar and have to deal with the vein of love and sacrifice within them for example the story of Nomi Sunrider and Ulic and Cay Qel-Droma for instance. This is probably why the story feels and seems familiar.

  • im sorry i know im wrong but i have to ask isnt this a book

  • Very excellent movie !

  • whats song is it from 3:27 to 3:36. can I have the mp3????

  • I really like this movie, even though there are three characters in it and they are Jedi and one Sith(did'nt see that coming with Euri being one) It is really good. Great Plot,

Acting, Costumes and the Lightsaber duels were very well done. Awsome work. I hope my soon to be made Star Wars Fan movie can be this good. My story also has Jedi and Sith.

  • Thanks. We worked really hard on the movie. Good luck with your own project.

  • SERIOUSLY? Not meant in a bad Way i swear, but there ARE actually Women who can put a nice, cool looking Fight? I mean, she is not just pretty, she moved pretty well - at last against the Padawan.

    Cool Fanmovie. <3

  • Thanks. She worked hard on the choreography, and it helped that she's a dancer.

  • Storyline = 10

    Action =9

    Soundtrack = 10

    Great job you guys

  • what a twist she was a sith

  • 4:30 There is no emotion, there is peace.

  • looked like he was going to kiss her 3:35

  • one question, sith or nightsister?

  • Wonderful!!

  • @TRR12fan: Thanks. We worked hard.

  • Women are not to be trusted xD

  • Despite the limitations of budget and experience, its still a coherent story that doesn't NEED the name Star Wars attached to it to hold up. I feel like the rotoscoping could have been done a little better. It isn't messy, but doesn't fit the 'classic' saber with the trail, but I suppose this is a limitation of the camera as well. The final fight was actually quite exhilarating for a fan film! Great work with limited resources.

  • great film great message

  • Amazing job, good story, script, and acting. I was surprised how well you did. I had no idea what was going to happen. Professional film makers need to realize fantastic CGI scenes and such is no match for a simple good story and script. Nice job.

  • whoever sings a song in the end of this film sounds so beautiful... im just curious if there's a track of it because she sounds rly gud ^^ and this is STILL my absolute favorite star wars fan film yet! :D very gud job on the plot, characters, sound effects and everything else in it!! ^^

  • Thanks for your nice compliment about the movie--we think it's pretty awesome too! The artist is Natalie Walker. The song appears on an album called Sweet Shadows by the band Daughter Darling of which Natalie was a part. If you look up Natalie Walker on youtube or google you should find her music and a couple of videos. Look up Natalie Walker Color Blind at Stewardent on youtube to watch the music video that we (the producer and director of Sacrifices) made for Natalie.

  • @alistarfilms u r so welcm! ^^

ooh pretty name... :) ok then i will definitely search her up :D

    so... how r u? ;-)

  • The jedi master use "Makashi" Excelent!

  • Wow. That was very good. Great Story. The Effects also were good

  • I just watched this and this was a great story. The sacrifices that Jedi must deal with to become a Jedi. Making his own daughter the enemy, and his apprentice falling in love with her wow. Great job!

  • Thanks, we worked on hard on the script.

  • hope tp see more simular too this =D nice job guys

  • I really enjoyed this video. I am a hardcore fan of Star wars, and I feel that this video, above all others, really brought the difficulty of the path of the Jedi to light. Most other videos are just Jedi falling to the dark side in the most childish ways or lightsaber combat coreography, and this was a really nice difference. I give it 10 out of 5 stars.

  • Thanks for the vote of confidence. We wanted a Star Wars movie that was actually a movie. We worked hard to produce a thoughtful story.

  • This video really touched me. All the other Star Wars fan films I've seen weren't very good in my opinion. It was really nice to see such a good storyline. The special effects and sounds were really good and the storyline was awesome. I love this filming style and the character development. I thought the Jedi master was a little plain but he was okay. I was surprised when she ended up being a Sith; but it only made it better. 5/5!

  • Thanks for your very kind comment. Your reaction was what we were going for.

  • Very nice presentation overall, I can only hope that the film I am aiming to produce can equal your excellence =)

  • Thanks very much. Hope your project goes well.

  • the lightsaber sound effects in the cave could have been better. But this one was i think a little better than the first one. Good ending, good acting, especially toward the end. Nice fluid dueling too.

  • i was crying at the end it far the best star wars fan film ever hope there is a carry on.

  • Such a profound and heartfelt compliment. Thank you so much.

  • I almost cried at the end.

  • That's a powerful compliment. We thank you for it--very much.

  • I luv this video it is by far one of the best star wars fan films i have seen!

  • Thanks. We really appreciate the positive feedback.

  • The plot is intense. I actually cried. Seriously though, when will the double bladed sabers stop being played out? It's getting old. Aside from that nit-pick, I think it's absolutely wonderful.

  • wow great short guys

got a question on Eury's lightsaber hilt, did you make two then fuse them together or was it a full double with removeable blades?

  • It was a full double with removeable blades. Glad you enjoyed it.

  • That was a very good story, it was better than the shit that Lucas put up in the last three movies

  • episode 3 was the worst. episode 1 was decent and episode 2 was good.

  • Great short, I actually got a little teary eyed. So props to you all.

  • Thanks for the kind compliment. We worked hard on it.

  • great fan film, make moew just like this with the good music as well

  • Loved it! It's really nice to see a fan film with great acting and you guys did just that! Well done!

  • Thanks very much. Positive feedback really means something to us.

  • great story, great music. can anyone please tell me wat songs you used for this short film, they were really good

  • The instrumental music was original for the movie. The two songs with voice were by Natalie Walker from her album "Sweet Shadows" made with a group called Daughter Darling. One song: "Mermaid" the second, "Broken Bridge.

  • Most Excellent! A pleasure to watch!

  • That was amazing!. You don't find too many star wars fan films with stories like this, which made it unique. Nice Work :)

  • AMAZING!

  • Maneiro!

    Ta Muito Show Cara!

  • nicely done about time there is a lightsaber duel that follows jedi and sith, all the other ones people are wearing normal clothing

  • Comment removed

  • very awesome!

  • for ONCE a starwars fan-made movie had some Real proffesional actors- Thank you for this.

  • I was quite impressed by this. Nicely done.

  • I really enjoyed this.

  • Although I had a minor issue with the music ambience, the feature was otherwise very well done, and very well written.

  • 1:41 WHAT DID YOU CALL ME!!!!

  • omg it's billy maze!

  • Can i work for you guys!!!??

  • Great job man!!!

  • That was really good man. If i had to nitpick at it i would just say when the lightsabers swing make the blade stretch more but that was really good 5 star.

  • that sith is HOT !!, hey are they using master replica lightsaber or the force FX lightsaber?

  • she's also one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. our lightsabers were hand made by a member of the crew--each was unique--it took him six weeks to make them.

  • i can see that you guys are a hard-core fan of Star Wars..

  • very nice...but half of the video is credits...haha

  • sorry i never watched part one. my bad

  • I'm not in to star wars but dude you did an Awesome job on this this is a real inspiration to me cause I'm gettin to writting and acting a lot now and right now I'm workin on a sequal to The Dark Knight called Arkham Asylum and It's based off the new Batman video game I think When I'm done writting it it's gonna be a great story thank you

  • just what part did u have in this film were u one of the actors of the director or what? just so i can get a point of view u kno

  • actor, writer, co-scripter, producer, co-editor

  • that is a huge production team! look at those credits!

    great music, btw!

  • great movie! Really good story line!

  • I find that Star Wars Fan films are alot more thought out then Star Trek ones.

  • This has got to be one of the best serious star wars fan films i have ever seen.

I also like the fact that it plays in so well that this is a possible thing to happen in the sw universe.

  • Thanks we worked hard on the script (10 drafts) before we were satisified.

  • This was a excellent film. Very well done i really enjoyed it.

  • i've got to tell you the message this film has is just overwelming.............

  • Thanks. It was part of our intention to make a film that began with a quality script--something with meaning.

  • I suggest that in some parts, do not make the Choreography look like it was planned, I can't give specifics, because I can't remember the time, but other than than, nice job.

  • Very good film and amazing screenplay.

This film went through very good editing.

I also find that it packs a very powerful message.

Job well done ladies and gents.

  • Thanks! We worked hard.

  • Great film. Very good.

    (and the girl is beautiful!)

  • Great fan film I was just wonding what kind of camera you use and what kind of lighting?

  • We used two cameras: a sony prosumer and an XL-1. The light kit was a generic kit--one of those basic kits you buy when you're still poor but serious about film making--a 3 or 4 thousand dollar set. Best person to ask about equipment is stewardent who directed this movie.

  • nice story line

  • Amazing

    nuff said

  • i thought the dialouge was very well put together as well as acting and such

    5/5*

  • I love this! This is one of the few fan films that actually have quality acting as well as great choreography. I'd love to see more.

  • more!!! lol

  • great video 5/5 on my calender i would like to see more

  • i love the lady sith lord she is cool

  • If you ever met Melissa, you'd also find her one of the nicest people you'd ever met.

  • It kinda felt like I was watching a soap opera...not that it wasn't good or anything...just that I didn't really get the SW feel.

  • Well done, I was impressed.

  • whoa dude the girl was hot and she looked perfect for a sith man great caster...but the choreography and the acting could have been a little better...but anyways nice job 4/5

  • both of these are really really good. the only fault was the acting wasnt that great. that younger guy was good but the girl and the older guy werent so good... dude... yeah 5 stars

  • thats right women do lead to the dark side! lol

  • sad but true XD

  • That chick was too hot to kill. Isn't there a Jedi rule where you can't kill a chick that's really hot?

  • I laughed. The really cool thing is that Mel (the hot chick) is as nice a person on the inside as she is pretty. She's a wonderful person.

  • :O How DO you get girls to participate? You, sir, are a LEGEND!! 5 Stars from me ;P.

  • From my limited experience it isn't that hard to get them to act. It is difficult to get them to do fights though. THen again my entire experience in working with girls was in 2 films, neither are on Youtube. (Lead actress won't let us) and my part to play was fight choreography and medic. So I didn't work that much with them.

  • Even so... to get them to act is hard enough... to get them to do a fight scene is beyond me and is most certainly worthy of credit.

  • Good Story, But the Fighting wasent the best i've seen, keep up the good work

  • i like the story but the fights could be better

  • which program do you use for make lightsabers effects??

    The video is exceptional!!

  • Light saber effects were accomplished in Adobe After Effects. The process took 150 hours! I think there may be newer/other programs that can speed up the process.

  • Ok. You could use "FXHome Effectslab Pro".... It's a nice program, but I couldn't understand how to use that.... Thanks again for the info....

  • Nicely done. Great lightsaber choreography too. Though the Jedi Master's acting was a little too much like a cardboard cutout.

  • sry again,

the sound is only in the cave bad!

  • Fantastic! Loved the movie! Keep up the great work!

  • Fight scenes! Now the balls in my court. The fights scenes where very well done. I've seen better (RVD soforth) But I've seen worse. These fight scenes are easily in the top 30 I have seen on youtube (top forty including videos not on youtube) Overall fights 4/5 whole film, same 4/5 great work. (If you want how I rate just reply and I'll give you a rundown and explain why it is near impossible for me to give a 5/5)

  • P.S. More videos would be appreciated.

  • This just goes to show, don't get hooked up with a psycho!

  • on of the lightsabers is smaller...

  • its true wat they say... love hurts

  • Did one of her red lightsabers go dead? The red lightsaber is more powerful but is said to die out sooner than a blue lightsword.

  • It didn't go dead. She was forced into a position where she had to turn it off.

  • the sound is bad

  • It's not that bad but yeah it could be better. I didn't dock the sound quality because I think youtube may have had a factor in it. (Video quality isn't the only victim)

  • I found my new soap opera. This was great i was with the movie. I felt there passion, the love. This was great 5/5!!!!

  • women!

  • very good vid, keep making them lyk this exelent.

  • She's Perty, Spongebob.

  • OMG I need a Sith woman like that in my life!!! These films were incredible!!.... So u should write alot more script and then, 2 the big screen with ya!!! ps... i need a Sith woman like THAT in MY LIFE!!! Lol gr8 job

  • very good, a nice complex story in the star wars universe i see alot of work went into this. Of course no film is without it's faults but the plot and acting were of a much higher standard than most fan films, hats off to you guys.

  • best Fan Film ever

  • the girl is hot

  • Great film man!

I can't find Broken Bridge anywhere! I WANT TO DOWNLOAD IT! Where can I find it? I look everywhere possible.

  • Try searching for Natalie Walker and Daughter Darling--one of those searches should help you find Broken Bridge.

  • i think u should wright more scrpits to this it would be very interesting to watch

  • dude great movie 1 and 2 but no offense but the lightsaber sound well stinks. great movie though

  • This was very very nice...I liked it...ALOT

It was very compeling (in a way) the way you brought in the sacrifice...And the way you used it in dialogue...usually when it's spoken about in terms of Jedi it sounds cheesey...but not here... I also realy like the way you gave the master Jedi a unique fighting style... not unheard of... but most people wouldn't do it... I like that...

*constructive criticism parts did seem a little soap opera...

VERY VERY VERY COOL keep em coming.

  • Best video on youtube, i wish i could film stuff like that..

  • Thank you for that very kind comment.

  • Beautiful acting and script. Great use of light in the house(part 1) and cave. Alsome lightsabers coregraphy. I love this film!!!

  • unlike most fan vids u have a good lightsaber coreography. nice job;)

  • what about rvd 1,2

  • I said MOST fan vids not all

  • cool that OK hve you seen the nine in the afternoon

  • Not bad. Good plot twist, but I think it seemed to make the Jedi look a little too heartless

  • awsome video def want to see a prequel!!! 5 stars!

  • Merry Christmas. lol

  • WOW!!! when the master utterd the words "such are the sacrifces of love" then the theme music started playing, a tear came to my eye, and chills flurried up and down my body!!! GREAT FAN FILM!!! FIVE STARS!!!

  • Thanks for your very kind comment. We worked hard on the script.

  • i think the master had the best choreography

  • wow good stuff indeed actin aint bad either

  • not bad at all

  • It's great. Although you could learn some choreography techniques from Ryan Wieber. Other than that, top knotch! ^_^

  • awsome 30/5!!!

  • A great movie!! I love it! 5/5!

  • FINALLY! A girl who can actually wield a lightsaber! Thank you! I've seen so many fan films...with the girls just sucking at it. So for that little bit, thank you very much.

    btw, great fan film. :D

  • Hm......pretty good, actuallly. Yeah, there were times the acting was bad, but the actual Star Wars films had times like that too. The storyline was definitely good. I also liked the use of lyrical songs alongside the orchestral music, as opposed to only the orchestral stuff

  • The song early on the lightsaber duel: is it the same as the song in the credits? What's it called?

  • The song early in the duel is "Mermaid" and the song in the credits is "Broken Bridge." Both are sung by Natalie Walker whose music videos are also on You Tube, including at alistarfilms and at stewardent. Melissa Sue who stars as Eurydice here in Sacrifices is a good singer in her own right and has a music video on You Tube at alistarfilms as well.

  • Thanks; I loved the music. I think Lucas should have put at least one lyrical song in one of the films, instead of always orchestral; maybe if they had like a galactic bard, that would totally rock!
