  • i have reason to believe that walmart is now framing ppl for shoplifting. someone there called the police on my friend and said they were concerned he may be to drunk to drive. when they arrived he politely told them he was there w/ a friend and not driving, giving them no reason to search him. upon arriving home he discovered he had not been charged nor recieved a receipt for 2 of the items he had attempted to buy. set up?

  • I say remove the RFID tag. On your next visit to Walmart, use double sided tape and attach the chip back to the location on the shelf where you found the item and stick it to the under side of the shelf. This should mess up their inventory process.

  • Chips are wrong. Not parent or store should ever use them.

  • Refuse.........to take the chip.....

  • i just keep thinking about the south park episode about walmart. its even worse than that...

  • South Park:D hahaha

  • FUCK WAL-MART! Spend the extra buck and get something better made that's not made in sweatshops!

  • Thoughts-

The chips have limited everything, they cant send out long distance signals, there's no BATTERY PACK, even if there was, doesnt everyone remove stickers, tags and labels??

Doesnt everyone WASH new clothes b4 wearing them? the wash/dry would damage any chip left behind.

I wouldnt worry about TAGS, it's when they start sewing something bigger, with a battery backup into the lining of the pants and coats that you'd better watch out!

  • @NativePrairieWolf You fail to understand how this technology works. It's passive RFID. The "passive" part means that it doesn't need a battery because the scanner powers it. It's a smaller version of what the KBG hid inside a plaque given as a gift to Ambassador Averell Harriman in 1946. The KBG's device needed no battery because it was powered by an EM lasor from a satellite in geosynchronous orbit. It also transmitted audio back to that satellite.

  • venusbrain,

Think again. There were no communication satellites in 1946!!!!!

Look, if you're going to comment, at least KNOW what you are talking about.

As for MODERN RFID, you are correct. The RFID chip just sits there until it gets near a scanning device. A signal from the scanning device does power the chip, it transmits a data signal to identify itself.

That's the way electronic toll tags for the highways work.

  • It only tracks within 15 feet of chip??? If they are that close to the inventory, why can't they just look at the shelf and see if it needs restocked?

  • lol, since the cashiers computers/tills doesnt keep track of ALL THE INVENTORY IN WALLMART, we will just attach a rfid chip to there clothing SMDH why are yall being liers

  • LOL WTF PEOPLE NEED TO GET A LIFE

  • Sheeple are idiots.

  • Problems with identigy theft, people..

  • Walmart is using IBM technology to track these RFID laced clothes and the technology is being rolled out across the country as it is across many others around the world. IBM handles the collection and distribution of the information from this system which not only tracks the clothes, it tracks any RFID you have on your person. Notice how Walmart didn't even go near the fact that each RFID is most likely providing unique information and tries to pass if off like a barcode. Think about it.

  • This is why I don't buy clothes from Wal-Mart.........

  • They need to put the chip in each pair of socks so we can track them, because I need to know where sock heaven is. What we need is a tracking system WE can use.

  • @Oneness100 These little devices cost something like pennies. The problem is that they're only available wholesale, and there's no end-user scanning system. Imagine if they'd boost the range to 100 feet and you could put three scanners in your house to triangulate the chips' positions(4 for accurate elevation). You'd never lose anything you own again.

  • @venusbrain I could deff use that idea for my remote control and car keys!

  • Blatant lie, their checkout system is already linked with inventory control. Unless the items are stolen they know exactly how many of each item they have. glad I don't shop there...

  • Walmart is going to install RFID readers all over the community to read the chips, right. Even if they did they would contain any person information. Technology ignorant people believing just anything they are told. I wonder if there is any money to be made t in selling aluminumized Mylar coveralls, with free tin foil hat.

  • And this is only ONE of the many things that are secretly "ushered" into our lives. How many more do we NOT know about? Our poor children.

  • You think Mr. Wal-Mart cares that people don't like this bright idea?

  • hahah south park

  • 1:01 was funny, ignenety teft. serious issue though, surprising

  • its removed after purchase? uh yea

  • @zelfire1980 No one said WM remove the tags

  • the EPC tag is on the packaging not in the actual clothing

  • Hello, Walmart?

I lost my underwear. Can you help me locate them?

    ...Behind the sofa? ...Found them!

    Thanks!

  • And this is why you dont shop at failmart. damn welfare rednecks

  • HAHHAHAH OK UPDATE FOR ALL YAH SHEEPLE THE CONTRACT WITH WALMART IS A MINSTERY OFF DEFENSE CONTRACT FUNDED AND FINANCED EVEN THE BEEF JERKY HAS RFID TAGS.

NOW WHAT YOU PROB DONT KNOW IS THAT CELLPHONES PATENT IS OUT FOR CELLPHONES WITH RFID TAG READER GERMAN PATENT OFFICE SO THEY CAN FOLLOW YOU ALL OVER THE WORLD.

YES RFID HAS GONE GLOBAL AND IS NO LONGER SHORT DISTANCE TRACKING.

SEARCH THIS Saudi inventor creates Killer Microchip

ITS PATENT WAS SEARCHED FOR IN GERMANY CYANIDE RFID IMPLANT

  • 2:47...yeah, this lady can't be bothered with taking tags off her clothes.......

  • buy a mesh zipper back and put all dirty socks in that. then when u was them they are all still in the bag. get one for white sox and one for the colored ones.

  • did anyone catch the part where they straight that they can only be tracked 10 to 15 feet away from the store so please put your foil hat back on and go back to your basements where all those mind controlling signals will be blocked and dont forget to grab your glann beck book on the way, and first and foremost dont forget to blame Obama :)

  • You will find most of these items sold at the nearest trailer park or project.

  • he bought a ladies camasol lol?

  • GO FIGURE.... THE DIPSH1T with the British accent DOES"NT MIND IF THEY TRACK HIM....STUPID FOCK

  • What a great idea, Oneness 100! Then I wouldn't have to wait til I get to heaven to be reunited with all my lost socks.

  • wow I had no idea. :/

  • The real reason for these tags is this: product association. If Wal-Mart finds out that 9 times out of 10, a person who buys product X also buys product Y, they'll know to have these items as far apart as possible in the store so that customers have to walk past products to get both items, maybe picking up more items. Only a fool thinks they care where your jeans are once they're out the store and paid for.

  • I have to point out 1:56-1:58 South Park. This had better be in a South Park episode. Free advertising!

  • This is absolutely a crock of sh-t on Wal-marts part. The reason being? is that they have handheld computors = Telezons that show when each item is low, show all their inventory, how much in the nearest warehoue to order., on the stores shelves and pegs and backroom. This is a lie. Wal-Mart is using those as a tracking device alright.....but for something else.

  • New World Order..

  • look at facebook and why its so important because its al about information

  • Why would Wal-Mart want to track anyone? This is possibly the dumbest story I have ever heard. And I watch a lot of youtube videos

  • The Burgh. Youtube always goes there to get the REAL news, for example; the last G-20 "summit". I haven't been there in a year, but Pittsburgh looks all "red-up". Next year, I'm gonna go dahntahn, buy a pahnd of grahnd-rahnd 'n make some sammiches.

  • the one who dislikes are the ones to look out for?????????

  • 1:01...Idenagy Theft. Learn to speak woman!

  • This is the most stupid news story I have ever seen. This proves how mind numbing and devoid of intelligence the news media is these days.

  • I would like them to put them in socks Every time I wash my socks, one seems to be missing. I would like to be able to track where all of the socks have gone.

  • @Oneness100 behind the washing machine, bro -Walmart Management team

  • @Oneness100 That's funny! Nice one. I have a fishnet type zipper bag I put all the socks in, so after washing and drying I just unzip the bag and dump them on the couch or whatever, sort and pair them up, back into the basket then into the drawer in order. But then again I don't think of many witty quips, so kudos to you!

  • It's not just walmart it's everywhere!! When u stop at a red light look into the camera. When you get on the web say hi!!! We are cattle and mother earth is a market!! What else is new?

  • it walmarts clothes they can do what they want. if i find a spy device in my clothes i will declare a state of war. i take no prisoners and do not accept surrender as an option.

  • I don't shop at walmart anymore..this chip in clothing thing seems really suspicious to me!

  • The lady's camisole was... because of the smart tag... yeah, we believe you, dude.

  • Never shows the location of where the smart chips are hidden. Besides, if you don't want the chip working in your clothes, boil the clothing so the chip short-circuits.

  • @Morbo878 Uh... That's complete and utter bullshit.

  • Wow. What a bunch of morons. Do you guys have any idea exactly how commonplace RFID is in the supply chain and warehousing? These people's movements aren't being tracked. From the standpoint of a technologist, which I am, RFID is both incredibly inefficient (i.e. expensive), and largely impractical for tracking the movement of the human cattle who shop at wal mart. The cheap tags on the clothes sold at wal mart won't read well in the near vicinity of metal and the broadcast range is too small

  • guess i will have to go naked.

  • Go to INFOWARS.COM

  • haha always told my mom when i was little i didn't want those b/s wal-mart clothes :P

  • We're all getting chipped with an RFID chip in December of 2012 (I'm not lying!) But, they should put it on the tag. Not inside the clothing.

  • long's they don't put chips in tampons... : D

  • I thought walmart was more concerned with preventing unions than loss prevention.

  • We have the opportunity to forge a for ourselves and for future generations

    A New Walmart Order.

    No Thanks.

  • look for the phone application that lets you get the bra size and color. Just scan a woman with your phone and know what sort of undies she favors. Coming soon with THING alert. !

    hehehhehehehe

  • @SqueakerAlpha darn keyboard THONG ALERT !!! lol

  • Wake up America. You have no privacy. There is no such thing. All these cool ass cell phones that everyone has to have, guess what they can track you with that shit. There is no such thing as privacy. You want privacy and to be a pure American unharmed citizen. Become Amish. They are the only ones that will make it when the shit hits the fan. They don't take shit from the government nor do they have any ties with them.

  • @1911Fan85 Nor could they ever even hope to have a chance at beating them.

  • ----- This guy just boycotted walmart

  • Or you can use your eyes and sales records to check your inventory you fascist corporate scum!

  • @Morbo878 Rediculous claim. Nobody uses paper money anymore, so it's a huge waste of effort to track physical currency.

  • If it's all for inventory, then why not re-do their fucking computer system?! It's not that hard set the system up to remove or return X amount of items from the inventory system every time they scan the item! Simple example are Auto parts stores. They do that all the time! No "EPC" shit. Just scan the barcode, and it removes the quantity scanned from the database, or labels it as sold/on hold.

  • @bstrickler Bar codes actually have something similar to an EPC. That's how you can differentiate between items. RFID is actually replacing bar codes in many cases. It's not really a bad thing either. I'd be more worried about our actual constitutional rights being violated. Between the Obama and Bush administration, we've seen the patriot act, various versions of online censorship attempts, and the usual branding of anyone outside of the norm as a threat in the name of the war on terror.

  • One of so many reasons that I don't shop at Mal-Wart.

  • What cracks me up is that people bitch about this stuff....but nobody has a problem with the patriot act.

  • @rocky75111 For sure , WAKE UP AMERICA!!

  • @rocky75111 how clever they are with law that takes away your rights while they advocate it protects you. 9/11 clearly done with help from withen Govt, continues be covered up.

  • @rocky75111 so true.

  • @rocky75111 Or the forthth admen You know with air port scaners.

  • @rocky75111 Oh yes I do have a problem with the patriot act. A big one.

  • @rocky75111 I do...

  • @rocky75111 Nope, I have a serious problem with both.

  • @rocky75111 - I DO ..Believe me there are plenty of us that do have a problem with the lie that started it.. weapons of mass destruction.. WHATEVER.

  • @rocky75111 Anyone that doesn't have a problem with the patriot act hasn't read it...

  • @rocky75111 and the changes to the NDAA

  • @rocky75111 thumb up times infinity

  • @rocky75111 RIGHT ON!!! Then again, you probably won't see any lines of protest outside Walmart either. Welcome to Satan's World: the reality game show flaunting the trust of the Profane Goyans with the surprise ending.

  • i got a haircut at great clips and they wanted my first name last, address, phone number, etc.. i asked why they need all that and she said it was so great clips could "track me easier.." when i asked why on earth great clips would want to 'track' me, all i got was a responce that was kinda creepy. "..they trade the info with places like walmart, and others, to see where people go so they know where to put new stores..." creepy, but at-least she didnt fuck up my hair..

  • @rocky75111 RFID actually does and is for the purpose of tracking. There are RFID which have a range of 300m and with GPS they have range beyond 500m. Wether or not Wal-Mart is a part of an RFID tracking program can be debated, but its definitely possible.

  • People are fucked up. I work in RFID tags, basically the same as the EPC tags. They do and are not able to track you. They have about the same range as a TV remote. What the hell is wrong with people? Everything is a conspiracy. What horrible life....always looking over your shoulder.

  • @rocky75111 Your obviously missing the whole point. Any steps that are leading towards more and more of your personal privacy being invaded is a huge problem.

  • @theright1allthetime He didn't miss the point. He was just stating an observation.

  • idengity theft

  • this is total shit. money is more important than people? fuck off walmart. don't you only sell walls there or something? (ph reference)

  • SOUTH PARK 1:57

RON PAUL 2012 OR REVOLUTION 2013

  • i suppose this would be useful when they drag yer ass thru the entrance gate of the FEMA camp....but you have a few months

  • "15 feet making long distance tracking imposable"

Crock of shit!! How many places now have RFID tracking at their doors?

Let's just suppose only Wal-Mart will only be able to track you. So what happens when you go out of town to a different Wal-Mart across the US, wouldn’t that be considered "long distant tracking" Quit watching the news it's the furthest thing from the truth.

  • Please note: The electronics they are putting in the store bought items are no where near the power you need something to be located! I mean this story is bullshit! I work with tracking devices and they use a good amount of power! They also cost THOUSANDS!! Yes GPS, remember GPS signals do not transmit back to satellites, they only receive signals! You need another source to transmit data to "know" where u are at! Survey equipment uses GPS and internet to submit its location! You need "2" things

  • If people are so worried about their privacy and whereabouts being known via store bought items, then I would suggest you all give up your Cell Phones. That's right! Your Cell phones contain tracking chips ( sims cards, etc. ) information of your whereabouts, via coordinates using the GPS tracking system. I believe they can track you within 100-300 feet of your location. How's that for Big Brother watching! Google it, if need be!

  • they put camera in your computer they spy on you when you take it home, look it up ,its on the news and a video on youtube , wake up before its to late. a disease will wipe you out ,wake up before its to late

  • Digital Angel, Inc. • IMPOSSIBLE! 4 minute mile. IMPOSSIBLE!!

  • Americans are soooo lazy that its too hard to remove the damn tag!

  • pause at 1:57 SOUTH PARK!!!!

  • @69juggalobitch an her name is dink felt lmao

  • @apck8 ??

  • @69juggalobitch she is from south park and her last name is dink felt . ie she felt my dink???

  • I don't buy my clothes at Walmart..Walmart fallapart anyway,Cheap Chinese crap ..doesn't save you anything in the long run..Buy American or from Canada!!!

  • TOO BAD I DONT BUY CLOTHES FROM WALL MART! HAHA

  • The customer male in the end is a stupid man, the perfect candidate for vile people to take advantage of. Also, STOP SHOPPING AT WALMART! Shop at a local shop, support the small business (if they aren't selling China made products) if you must shop at a big shop, consider Target who as I can recall don't support unions the parasites of the working class sucking business into bankruptcy.

  • this is part of the plot wake up america!

  • The guy at 2:14 is so stupid. Those are the kind of people that are giving up all there freedom because they feel they are so pure. All he is concerned with, is that they don't look at his intimacy, but which by the way he looks and sound is a little gay.

  • DO NOT SHOPP AT WAL MART, THEY WILL TRACK YOU TO YOUR HOME TO SEE WHERE YOU LIVE AND IF YOU ARE BLACK OR WHITE

  • i know about the magnetic ink things on clothes...not sure about "rfid" chips...I think walmart should worry more about the drugs that are stolen than the clothes...

  • Walmart isn't tracking you. Calm down people.

  • who buys clothes at wall mart?

  • and thats why i installed my super nano particle sub-atomic positive negative ion gun or magnet for short.

  • That guy in the end is so stupid!

  • "RFID only works up to 15 feet away, making long distance tracking impossible" are they f'ing kidding me?! Nearly every store has RFID trackers, so all anyone would have to do is follow you by location, this idea was outed in the Tom Cruise movie Minority Report. Now maybe Walmart couldn't track you around town, but the Feds certainly can.

  • It's all coming from China. Where do you suppose all this junk is coming to our country from anyway?

  • People are too paranoid over nothing.

  • I found a tag in a jacket I bought more than two years ago. It was between the jacket and the liner of the jacket.

  • you get what you deserve your. shop wal mart and like it SOON WE WILL RULE ALL

  • where the fuck is the damn tag then to take off?

  • SLAVES LISTEN up you will shop at walmarts ! you will not say a god damn word and you will get the gmo food it sells...

Now go home and die and have a nice day!

  • This is enough to have them boycotted. Walmart, Stop it! its bad enough you have to pay poor countrys money fo sweat shops that abuse small children into making your products, now you are traking sheeple in America?

  • "Making long distance scanning impossible" Yea until you place hi powered scanners on a UAV then it's fuck all. Fuck Wally World and all the KochSuckers they're in bed with.

  • That idiot was from a country that is already a nanny state, england, they've already laid down and become sheeple

  • Time for Vote for Ron Paul

    Freedom and Liberty

  • Comment removed

  • @marcuswatsonlife ron paul cant save us from this there gonna do what they want

  • Its walmarts responsibly to remove the chip before a costumer leaves the store. Cashiers could remove them.

  • what is idignidy theft?

  • I can see Walmarts primary use for this being in targeted advertising.

  • this is tracking the individual.

  • No one gives a damn what YOU think, it's a system to stop crime and lower inventory costs. It will save you money becuase it will cost less to do inventory so the store can provide a better value. YOU can remove the chip that is in the TAG!

GUESS WHAT, your credit cards, and your driver license have chips in them so the government can track you. It's for security, if human beings didn't FUCK UP so much and steal everything they can find, other humans wouldn't produce these technologies!

  • @truthseeker010101 so i guess you are ok with the SOPA and NDAA?

  • wash the clothes and you won't have a problem stupid american media

  • EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO ONLINE AND EMAIL AND OR CALL THEIR REPRESENTATIVES IN CONGRESS AND TELL THEM TO OPPOSE THE SOPA AND PROTECT IP ACT ,IF NOT SITES LIKE YOU TUBE WILL DISAPPEAR OR BE SEVERELY RESTRICTED GO TO DEMANDPROGRESS . ORG

  • personal storage devices in the not so distant future and you will be forced to use a cloud ,and pay for storage monthly and all your date will be owned and tracked and all copyright content will be strictly controlled ,like paying for each time you play an mp3,game of video clip, etc for stuff they want to bill that way for,not saying it will happen but its what they want and are planning, the SOPA bill to be voted on as soon as dec 21,2011 will be a first step in the content control &censorship

  • sure maybe there using it right now, but you would not know if they were ,did you also know that wallmarts databases are larger than the entire global internet, and growing everyday? this is all leading to a very bad place ,just like cloud computing is,soon you wont be allowed to use the internet without id and or biometric scan, and id yourself and then later they plan on making more and more difficult to store your own data, till it is impossible, all the new OS will no longer be compatible with

  • @corpsegrinder haha keep on thinking that, did you know that there are smart phones viruses that are hidden in online flash games that will read all rfid tags like ones in your credit card and send the rfid account # via email of any rfid cc the phone comes within 3 feet of back to the hacker, all without you knowing it?if they can do that then corporations can use hidden apps to track all you own and all you do ,look up carrier iq,it is hidden spyware on smartphones that tracks everything you do

  • who buys clothes from walmart LOL

  • I think that reporter is gonna go home and wear those lady clothes.

  • If you take and can get it at 15 feet then its just like wirless internet and can be tracked via the frequency and the code designation aka the .....

  • @rayfalcon777 cd Number this is just another way for the idiots to infringe on our rights just like everyone else out there including but not limited to Big brother and satelite companies and tv pc companies, heres the way I see it we work hard for our bloddy money sooo back on up outta our bussiness idots and leave us alone thats the reason jobs are getting eliminated every day is because of all the new technology and very pathetic lazy peopl that dont want to work and want top dollar.

  • What!!!!!!!

  • Hey Walmart. Kiss my ass.

  • what the fuck!! my jeans will be in the closet, i the hamper or in the laundromat! not planning terrorist attacks or spying foreing countries!!!! lol

  • play 1:37 to 1:39 repetedly cracks me up.

  • Jon Delano a crossdresser? Ladies camesel ha ha...... he was shopping for himself funny stuff...........Or.....HOW BOUT...SOME UNDERWEEEAAR! ha ha good stuff. Say NO to RFID human implant chip.

  • SO IN OTHER WORDS , THERE IS NO DOING INVENTORY IN THE STORE THEN . NO INVENTORY DAYS/WEEKS THAT WALMART USE TO HAVE , NO ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR INVENTORY

  • our own clothing, spelling correction.
