I live in Ukraine now and just a couple months ago Israel abducted an engineer from Gaza from a train in Ukraine, while he was visiting his wife's relatives here (his wife is ukrainian). At first they denied abducting him but within a few weeks it turned out he WAS in custody in Israel after all. This all got me thinking about everything, because I was raised to think of Israel as a good country.

"Occupation" is not the accurate legal term. The terrain held by Israel has a number of justifications. No land is held unjustly or illegally, if that is the set of lies you refer to.
The "Palestinian" leadership in 1948 terminated its state.
