@muaj81 what? voip (voice over internet protocol) does not have anything to do with facebook.

I think I prefer SIP to skype as SIP is an openly documented industry standard voip protocol vs Skype which is a proprietary (closed) protocol. I would not want to pay £35 a year to "rent" a number through skype when SIP numbers can be rented much more cheaply.

it will be much cheaper if you just buy the skypeout and skypeln for just 35ish a year around wifi.
