  • OMG THE CHLORASEPTIC COMMERCIALS... LOL

  • My Cowboys were tied with Washington going into that game, but would proceed to lose both that game and the season finale to Miami. No playoffs in Dallas that year. :(

Chloraseptic is nasty but it works pretty well. However it wears off after only a couple of hours or so.

Considering how much regular CD players probably cost during the '84 holidays, there's no telling how expensive a car CD player cost back then. The '92 Saturn I drove in college and afterward had a tape deck only.

  • Looks like you're into winning.

    You Bet.

    Winners do drugs.

    YEAH! *wink* *thumbs up*

  • Chevy Announcer: Looks like you're into winning.

    Chevy Actor: You bet.

Oh, man. I love life so much.

  • damn i feel old after watching this!

  • My parents didn't get a car with a CD player until October 1999. :(

  • 11. Chloraseptic -"It's like somebody's coated it with um..... a medication." That's EXACTLY what you did. lol

  • The IROC in the IROC-Z Camaro stood for "International Race of Champions"?

  • Stuart Dong from Vol. 75 didn't make it to this State Farm ad? Shame. LOL

AT&T... keeping 56k away from us for at least 10 years after this ad!

... and car CD players COMING THIS WINTER!!!!!! We don't need DVD-player sized CD players anymore either!!!!!

  • in 1984, a car CD player was WAY ahead of it's time!! Very few people had CD players, yet alone one in the car! SONY was a god back then!

  • My favorite Chevrolets from the 80s would be Caprice Camaro and Corvette

  • 4:21 LOLOLOLOLOL

  • Ah the 80's, back when you put a well known alcoholic in to a beer commerical.

Plus it was the decade for guys named Howard Johnson

  • I want to see that UNLV vs Georgetown game! Patrick Ewing!!

  • that last one was funny

  • Love the IROC-Z one, ive owned 5 of them, and still have my 85 and 89 til this day.

  • This tape was recorded one week before I was born. That is cool.

  • "Looks like you're into winning."

    "You bet!"

This is before advertisers worried about alienating the loser population.

  • love that sony commercial; today's ads don't have enough roller-skating salesmen lol

  • iroc z as if a mullet wasnt enough to prove ur the king of the trailer park

  • I have Six Pack on DVD, it's an awesome movie. :-)

  • What's with the wink? Well, it was all about being a flirt in that decade.

  • Alexis Arguello got drunk when he drank too much Lite! XD Correct me if I'm wrong...

  • I am looking for that movie 'six pack' right now, cant wait to watch it! Great volume!

  • That AT&T commercial blew my mind! I love it! hehe 56k

  • I wonder if the writers of that commercial had any idea 25 years later folks would be watching their ad again on little $800 boxes with vastly superior processing power than their 56k astronaut phone.

  • My Astronaut phone works fine thank-you-very-much! You kids and your fancy cell phones don't know what you're missing. I can make phone calls to the moon with this thing, dammit!

  • Macy's commerical is so fuckin badass

  • awesome ...but then again, all your vids are awesome!

  • Sweet! Thanks 80sVault, this brings back memories :)

  • OMG! Wow! A CAR CD player! What will they think of next?!

  • RIP Alexis Arguello

  • I've been looking for this commercial for YEARS! I remember it from my childhood. I was 10 years old but I knew who Arguello AND Billy Martin were. Fighters and baseball managers DON'T have that kind of charisma anymore. RIP El FLACO EXPOLSIVO!!

  • I <3 puppet animal arms.

  • i love these commercials keep up the good work
