I don't see what application these would serve. I can understand selling models with a butt stock like the CAA stocks, but if you want to add a forward grip or a stock you still need the $200 tax stamp.
@GunWebsites - So what's the legal process for putting a stock on a pistol? How much is the tax, and can you switch back n forth? Or what if I just had a custom 16" barrel made for my glock? Would that be legit? lol
yes you can make a pistol into a rifle, so IF they made a 16" barrel that would work on a Glock you could do that .. but I doubt a 16" barrel wold work at all on a Glock
I was try to be creative and make a 'addon' with rails etc. for my walther P99. It's been 4 years back and still got the 'creative' fumbling of mine somewhere lieng around. It worked well with alluminium alloy aircraft frame wich is light but dint hold up too well against the slide. I might put p some pics or vid from it after I have re-engeneer it slighly. Love your vids, keep it up buddy! peace.
While there are many pros and cons to a design like this, for a close protection team it may have some use. It may be nice to have with a 31 round magazine too.
Never would've thought that Sig would jump on the "useless shit" bandwagon, it is just the most inelegant way to put a shoulder stock on a pistol and why the hell would you do that.
And from what the salesman was saying its $600, so it's $600 for the pistol and another $600 for the kit, $1200 to do that a perfectly good Sig.
Why would you remove a comment for pointing out, someones mistake. I think its sad is all. Don't be ashamed. Be a man and own it. Its your video. And its true. The Sales rep Doesn't use the correct name for the product. If I were his manager I would fire him. He is paid to represent his Company. I wouldn't buy from him.
Great Video though, good info and view. I think the product is a joke. why would you turn a pistol into a subgun. This is a poor mans mp5, or a UMP/ w 4 in barrel.
I get the sense this was designed with the stock in mind originally. The carbine model plus a Glock 18 with 33 round mags might be cool. But without the stock, I get the feeling that only Hollywood would be interested in this. Image them cramming a Desert Eagle into it...hah! Well at least they didn't call it "Tactical".
Lol love the conversation of why you wound want one. I'm really interested in the concept. I live in a non-SBR state and besides like AR15 pistols we can't have a lot of iconic guns or short guns. Keep up the videos on these pistol carbine platforms!
We figured people would enjoy our conversation about these.. I like guns, and I don't assume they all need to serve some kind of tactical, or even practical purpose, but not everyone agrees..
We often argue among ourselves about stuff like this, only we don't get as rude and pointless as some video comments go, LOL
You get nothing with this but a heavier pistol that is slower to get on target, and for $300 - $500 I can buy a complete carbine that cames with sights. (SUB2000,Hi-point in .45 or 9mm)
This looks like their version of the kpos system. However, I don't see this selling, it's a stupid idea. The kpos G2 on the other hand is much better.
Pistol caliber carbines belong in the 80's. This is so useless especially with out the stock. If you want a red dot on your gun buy a rmr and dovetail mount.
these things are stupid why you would want to put a shroud over your pistol? the barrel stays the same length and the ammunition is the exact same all it does is make your gun weigh more and ad a stock that's it it doesn't improve the guns inherent accuracy.
It seems like for the price of this you could put a VFG and a stock on a glock and then maybe an optic and still be under the price thing thing will run you, with something a lot lighter and handier.
It`s not doing anybody any good if it`s not legal. Because of our crazy laws concerning putting stocks on pistols this creates a whole big can of worms.
@drumONdrugs23 The one with the stock is the LEO model because you have to register your pistol as an SBR and pay the $200 tax stamp on it before you can use it.
50yrds with a pistol hitting a 7" head plate is not easy but dueable...I can do it at 100 maybe 1 out of 5 times on a good day. So a 5" group at 50yrds your hitting a head plate 5 out of 5 times.
Hmm not diggin it... Not having a stock defeats the whole purpose IMO. Also, a sig red dot came with my Sig 516 and it pretty much sucks. They are trying to sell these things for over $200 and its no better than a cheap $50 red dot.
thanks for the video. I think this acp is just another gimmick part for the mall market. I wouldn't mind trying it out of just morbid curiosity but I'll just wait for the yt video, lol..
I like it and want one. It would be part of a registered Glock SBR kit.
