  • TALTICAL MUTE INBOUND!!!!

  • The technical top speed of a TGV for passengers is 300 or 310 kmp/h The top speed ever driven with those trains lays around 550kmp/h. But this is only done on special test tracks wich are made of several kilometers of STRAIGHT track

  • Dude, that's like 200!! Maybe less!!

  • @MrTriforceMan no tgv is 300-320

  • if you could imagine the wind sticking your head out when going at 300 and you pass another train doing the same in the opposite direction.:-)

  • Gran video

  • I can run faster

  • it is maximum 250km/h

  • @Casanovalover86

This is not true, only on some routes.. The tgv from paris to lyon speeds up to 300kmph and drives that all track long, except for crowded city areas

  • @Casanovalover86 not tgv

  • 速いですね~^^

    景色もいいですし、一度乗ってみたいです。

  • @takeshi0729able slusznie, chociaj ja bym dodal 速いで albo たいです ewentualnie 景色。

  • What is the first song?

    Very nice video!

  • TGV is too slow , Maglev is faster

  • Hermoso. Excelente.

  • You like to make videos of the fast trains at an empty station? Cool

  • a better title would be "Closing Speeds of 600km/h"... would save you some abuse. nice vid though.

  • This camera is Nikon L110 ? :-)

  • @363eso no. some canon photo camera

  • Why have this, when you can ride. Chuck Norris!

  • I'd get a tripod to get a steadier video.I'm almost feeling sick of nautia!!

  • Hello everybody. Don't forget to turn your sound back on after this video...

  • ta gacher tout le plaisir de regarder et d'entendre les trains avec ta musique ........ tres decenvant

  • whoever was stoking the coal into that train would be working hard!

  • Voll geil :D

  • Very nice!

    nice song

  • é isso que o MUNDO precisa!

  • why do some of the passing Eurostars not have the standard regulation UK yellow patch on the front?

  • @morgsThreeSixtyFive Because they are no longer Eurostars.

  • @UraeusAnkhAmon ah okay - were they on loan to SNCF or something?

  • Britian needs these kinda trains.

  • -1 for the music, -1 for the lack of originality: everybody films there

  • fckg music

  • A train has never travelled 600 kmh. And even if it could, that would only be on a restricted testing zone.

  • @Jmarley912

    oppositely !!!

  • Nice

  • Trop bon !!

  • I would've puked by then

  • I think he mean to type 300km/h or he did to get attention lol

  • @RegnierP17 I think the commenter don't know to read and got his attention lol

As I already wrote : OPPOSITELY = relative speed of two trains pass OPPOSITELY each other (few trains at the and of the video).

    and actually 300+300=600

  • @aexpogby Ohhh ok :P

  • @aexpogby Exactly only an engineur could understand that. Like me ;D

  • @aexpogby lol I think you understand English better than some of the native speakers who've commented about 600km being a mistake.

Nice video! which station did you shoot the videos at?

  • @trainmaster5000 Its Haute Picardie TGV station which is on the main high speed Paris Nord-Lille and beyond route. Driven past it a few times - you can reach it just off the A1 autoroute. Worth taking a Le Shuttle across the Chunnel and then parking at HP and then the TGV network all over France is in easy reach.

  • @DrMarcusKane thanks for the info! I'll have to pay a visit when I am up in Europe again

  • @trainmaster5000 Thanks for understanding :)

It was captured at station TGV Haute Picardie on LGV Nord line in France.

  • @RegnierP17 the author mean when 2 trains pass each other the relative speed is 600km/h ;) the speed you see the train in the opposite when you go with 300km/h ;) so it´s true and not to get attention ;)

  • @KnutKarsson I already got that.

  • Я БЫ ПРОКАТИЛСЯ))))

  • FOR EVERYOENE DOUBTING ABOUT THE SPEED,,TGV MAXIMUM SPEED IS 571 KM PER HOUR, AND MAXIMUM EVER RECORDED FOR TRAINS IS THE MAGLEV- MAGNETIC LEVITATION ,JAPAN WITH 581 KM PER HOUR

  • ¿¿¿600 Km/h???

  • whoa the one at 0:21 was really belting along

  • eh eh i think that speed is more than 800 kmh

    ih ih shure

  • what is the name of the music title?

  • Looks like you sped up the record in some scenes...

  • How can a train, which construction speed limit is 300 - 350km/h,

    go up to 600km/h??

  • @Globus601 & @innocent006

as already wrote :) OPPOSITELY = relative speed of two trains pass OPPOSITELY each other (few trains at the and of the video).

    and actually 300+300=600.

  • @aexpogby Actually, what you're trying to say is that their COMBINED VELOCITY = 600km/hr. "Oppositely" is not the correct term in English.

    Otherwise - great video!

  • @gregretro thanks for feedback :)

  • @Globus601 Lol TGV set record at 578 km/h ^^

  • TGV set the speed record of 574.8 Km/p between Paris and Strasbourg........

  • @innocent006

It was a speed record event,

    and not a commercial train.

  • @innocent006

It was a speed record event,

    and not a commercial train.

And it was (and I'm sure of it) a specially constructed train,

    wasn't it?

  • @Globus601

It wasn't a specially constructed train, it was between Paris and Strasbourg, it was a speed and science record event, it was a test for setting the commecial speed of TGV higher & now the line between Strasbourg and Paris is the fastest in France (more than Between 300 and 400 km/h I don't know exactly but it isn't hard to find). The railroad built between Paris and Strasbourg is different of other lines in Europe, that's what make the train on this line go so fast.

  • Nice video, and those trains are just about the fastest in Europe, but you're exaggerating quite a lot with 600 km/h!

The fastest line in France is between Paris and Strasbourg, and "the record for the fastest scheduled rail journey [is] 279.4 km/h"

    Thanks for the video though!

  • @frogescalator OPPOSITELY = reletive speed of two trains pass each other (few trains at the and of the video).

Today most high-speed lines of France are operating at speed of 300km/hr.

LGV Est (Paris - Strasbourg line) "Constructed for speeds up to 350 km/h (220 mph), for commercial service it is initially operating at a maximum speed of 320 km/h."

  • wow

  • what are the station staff like at this station, ive just booked tickets for this spot.

  • @HSTsteven I didn't saw any staff on platforms there. you can watch freely passing trains from the platform.

some tip: you can make timetable of all passing trains. look on SNCF's website (or some other) timetable of arrivals & departing trains at "Paris Gare du Nord" and "TGV Gare - Charles de Gaulle Airport" all train pass TGV Haute-Picardie. It takes 30min ride to those station.

  • awesome video!

  • 2:11 I can see u ^^

  • Nice video. 5*

  • Wow! Is fantastic this video! 5*.

    ¡Saludos de Guillem desde Barcelona!

  • where is 600km/hr ?! tgv standard speed is 300

  • i mean relative speed of both trains at 1:51, 2:05, 2:11 & 2:15
