I think the benchmark on this game is meaningless! When i play 1080p all high everything its smooth as butter. Even during this mission. But when i benchmark, it averages 24fps! GTX 460x2 SLI Q8300(yes i know old processor) 4GB DDR2 800Mhz

love the monitor! man i got a evga gtx 480 overclocked e8600 4.4ghz 800mhz 4 gig ram with gtx 260 as a dedicated physx i get crappy fps shock shock shock 28 fps on 1680x1050 without physx i get 76 but even with medium physx i get 28 fps and thats on a dedicated gtx 260 physx card.

@andrei7311 lol, with it I get bout 38-40fps in the benchmark. I dont include it because it dosent work in the game, just takes away fps lol, and u should know that FSAA has nothing to do with the games quality! It just sharpens edges.

@HousedanceTanL Actually it does the opposite. It blurs edges to get rid of jagged edges that occur on 3D graphics. Look at a fence in a game without antialiasing to see what I mean. Power lines are another good thing to look at. And sure, it doesn't add much to the game BUT you blatently lied when you said MAX settings in your video title when it's obviously not max.

Your CPU speed is optimal. At 1920 x 1080, and with a 4Ghz CPU speeds, your FPS would probably increase by 1-2fps. There are a few articles online where overclocking the i7 930 to 4 Ghz doesn't yield much of a difference in fps at high resolution. This guy's 41 fps average is attributed to his overclocked 470.

That is true. But the Core i7 will already run L4D at over 100 fps. But don't think I am against overclocking. My i7 930 is o/c'd to 3.8Ghz, but I pull back to default speeds in the summer even though my core temps (Real Temp) are less than 70 degrees Celcius.
