That reflects an approximation of the buying power of a similar denomination gold coin when they circulated as US currency, before Wilson and Roosevelt betrayed us to the fiat bankers, destroying the value of the dollar. ='[.]'=

  • @Raycheetah Calm down, dude! The numerical value on gold eagles is only a nominal value since they are legal tender. I'm pretty sure if you were to buy/sell the coins you would be charged the going rate for gold + a small fee.
