They have been suffering enough thru' years.Sad !..FREE BURMA - GIVE THEM BETTER LIFE! Please help them whenever you see them.....

  • I went to Burma last week and met some of the kindest people I've ever met. I was traveling with Buddhist monks from Thailand. And watching this video just made me cry so much. Daw Aung San Suu Kyi : "Use your liberty to promote ours", let's not forget them...

Btw, what is the music you're using with the vid? Is it Burmese ?

  • Id be the first to say that I dont agree with Us troops being used as policemen.but dammit these people need help ,if good people stand by and do nothing ,then evil reigns

  • Hey Texarkana this is not Americas problem the United nations need to do something about it ok not America I used to live in Burma when I was three it did have the smell of gasoline butthis is not americas problem.

  • Hey Dwarf,The United Nations is useless as Tits on a boar hog, plus they ARE out for world govt ,which equals new world order, and I have changed my opinion,we here in America need to look after our own ,our economy is collapsing, and we are being invaded everyday by illegal mexcians ,hell bent on taking over,I simply let my emotions get the best of me

  • Well the good thing is that you did not go beserk with curse words and I totally agree with you.

  • I made a crystal Taj Mahal for her inside 1000 acres of flowers, but understood that cannot match her beauty. I started living inside it. I painted a big picture of Ashwarya Rai in walls. It was heavy snowfall outside. I showered roses on her picture. Her smiling makes me speechless. Sunlight reflected her face and I found the ANSWER. She is soul, life, and way to external peace. She is a true GODESS.

  • These Burmese peoples are just an amazing bunch. Grace under fire.

  • A recent shipment of Artillerry cannons from China were seen crossing the China-Burmese

border on November 6,2007 on route to Burmese Army Units. A witness told that 21 Artillerry cannons were seen on 7 large trucks also the light weight medium FAW trucks, manufactured by Chinese owned Tongfeng Company.

  • NEVER & EVER.

  • The greatest Freedom Anthem I have ever heard. Very moving and touching. It even takes me back to 1962 July7. If you guys have union ahsaung ah-oo haung ta nayya (A place of the ruined Union Building) that commemorates the 7th July 1962 please post it. The song was a clone of Tawagu (Bagan myo haung a nayya).

  • U.S. sanctions largely prohibit investment in Myanmar by U.S. companies. Chevron Corporation is the only major U.S. company remaining in Myanmar. It took over a 28 percent stake in the Yadana pipeline project when it bought Unocal. Chevron CEO is David O'Reilly, headquarters is in San Ramon, California.

  • Gratest song, never surrender

  • Thank you, here's to a FREE BURMA

  • Would some kind Burmese reader please post the details of the song - its proper name, perhaps where one might find the complete lyrics, who recorded it, etc? I really need to know.

I'll check back here but perhaps you could send me a message as well. I can't seem to contact the video owner.

  • Agam - The tune is to "Dust in the Wind", an American song from the 1970s. Look it up on wikipedia. The lyrics are posted earlier, in two versions.

  • Thanks very much lazygardens for posting the info. It's funny, I keep thinking "Dust in the Wind" when I watch the video, but it just seemed a little different somehow. But maybe it comes from a Burmese music group's cover back in the 1980's? Do you know anything about who recorded the Burmese version, and what the name of the song is? I'd really love to find it on disc. And do you know why the two translations are fairly different?

Thanks for taking your time for this, I appreciate it.

  • I'm an Insane Genius

  • i think you are the ignorant person here.

"China is the puppet-master of Burma. The Olympics is the only real lever we have to make China act. The civilised world must seriously consider shunning China by using the Beijing Olympics to send the clear message that such abuses of human rights are not acceptable." Edward McMillan-Scott, vice-president of the European Parliament.

  • the last message from me was for you bringbai.

  • Pressure on Beijing will bring down Burmese junta

"But Beijing also has its Achilles' heel - the Chinese authorities are paranoid about anything that might tarnish the 2008 Beijing Olympics. So this is the perfect time to squeeze Chinese leaders to drop the junta in Yangon. After all, Beijing's biggest nightmare is having next year's game dubbed the "Genocide Olympics.""

  • They(SPDC) and not even a single one of their next generation should't be alive on this earth.

  • TIME FOR the entire FREE World Nations to come to the aid of the opressed, exploited, humiliated, and tortured Burmese people, the atrocities inflicted upon them is not human, and not acceptable at any level !! These people deserve assistance NOW ! NOW ! They will get FREEDOM !

  • and no I am not heartless, I feel for them too, I just don't want another "the Iraq"

  • if you are not heartless, you are ignorant. unlike Iraq, these are people that desperately want democracy in their country. they don't expect us or our sons and daughters go over there to fight for them. they have been and they are fighting and dying for it themselves. but they need help. they need the rest of world to help stop the armament of the brutal junta by a few unscrupulous countries. particularly china.

  • THEspottedhyena:

    Stop comparing Burma and Iraq!

Although there are many ethnic groups in Burma with many different religions, the people in Burma in general are more peaceful! Many of them are Buddhists who don't kill and who don't believe in any form of god; they believe in being compassionate, just like the Tibetans!
