wow! I have seen and heard Denise Ray preach twice. I love her! an awesome women of God!

You see folks , what you have here, are a bunch of rejected , abused , used ,pimped out , turned out ,divorced , fatherless mostly black and obviously rebllious women , who because they themselves have never encountered a man that was worth a tinkers dam, think that God must have the same problem. But just because YOU cant find a man worth his salt, does'nt mean God cant. God never needs something so bad, that he has to go against his own word to get it done.

The bible refers to her only as a " sister" not first lady and not a "soldier" like her husband , and having a church meet in your home , does'nt qualify you as a co pastor to your husband. The word "pastor" only has a masculine form. It does not have a feminine form like the word prophet does. It's funny how people twist the bible to make their point. the same way homosexuals do. You've got to get up a little earlier in the morning lady, because that dog wont hunt. What else you got?

I dont feed off of silly debates. and the only thing silly here, is the silly woman ,on the other end of this converstion. Minister is generic, so if you want to call yourself a minister , go right ahead. But if you STUDY the word PASTOR, since you claim you study, then you would know that "pastor" is masculine and it means shephard. if you were to go to Isreal today, you would not find one female shephard gaurding the flock. The word pastor is never and will never be appended to a woman.

I thought that was a typo , i apologize. But your stance on women pastors is wrong. Ephesians 5:23 states,. "For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the Saviour of the body." 1 Timothy 3:2, 12

"A bishop then must be blameless, the HUSBAND of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach. . . . Let the deacons be the HUSBANDS of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well."

See Gal. 3:28, Exodus 15:20: Miriam, the sister of Aaron was a prophetess;

Philippians 4:2: Paul refers to two women, Euodia and Syntyche, as evangelists; Romans 16:7: Junia as "outstanding among the apostles. English is no the orig. langauge. The two names (Andronicus and Junias) are in the accusative form (they are recipients of the verb greet), the second name appears as Junian, which is the accusative form of the feminine name Junia. (Hence a FEMALE)

Respectfully Tbursee, you are looking at this from a logos prespective without rhema. Eph. 5:23 is stating "Husband is head (kephalē) or the first to go into battle of the wife as Christ is the first one to go into battle for the church. Paul did not use the greek word arche. You base your arguements on Paul and not on what God has said. See Joel 2:28, Gen. 1:28. Lastly, a bishop is an administrative function, not 5-fold ministry. Shephard (poimēn) is literal and metaphorical Eph. 4:11
