Nice video. In the second exercise how do I train for power in my left hand? Do I just switch or is there a specific way to train for more powerful jabs?
Could you use a weighted vest to further the difficulty of this exercise? I've had problems with my knee for a few years now and I am looking for moves, exercises and techniques to increase my stability, strength and endurance in my knee. Any tips would be much appreciated!
This is a good excercise but for me it has helped more with form than power. I do the same excercise pushing rather than pulling. Then I do repeated Rt - Lt's and vice-versa on the heavy bag (50-100 reps). After that I do punch pushoffs against the heavy bag. I throw a slow punch concentrating on my technique and push into the bag with all my strength. Then I throw with the other and do the same. I found this has given me punching power. Just by the reaction of those I have sparred with.
these exercises is good cuz it conditions your form of punching but even if you work on these exercises for years, it don't mean you will get that power. remember that weight x speed = power, so whatever u lack in weight, you should make that up with speed.

The "clown statue" was actually a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this on 10 videos tonight the clown will be in your bed at 3:00am with a chainsaw in his hand. Sorry don't want this to happen to me

Dont use bands they reduce explosive power.
