i hate the hitting in this game...it looks like shit most of the time...i wish they let you flip players over the bench if you hit them near it...or hit them so hard that the glass shatters...game is good but the checking sucked....how is it in nhl 12?

@Blade025 NHL 12 hitting is fairly similar, but you can hit people into the benches and shatter glass. Hip checking in NHL 12 is overpowered, even if you just tap them they can go flying. Hitting physics sometimes go kinds crazy.

@tanthour oh...yeah..some of the older games had really good checking..it's retarded how these games can't come up with good physics. I think they tried too hard to make it look realistic that it just looks plain stupid at times...they should have just stuck to the basics instead of trying to hard

@Pece17 Not really...sometimes i nudge the guy and nothing happens...but than i keep seeing replays of it on the highlight reel like it was some huge hit...the only thing i like is when you hit someone on the boards..but other than that..mid ice collisions don't really work that well...sometimes it does but the guy just stumbles to the ground. Maybe i just don't know how to properly hit but the biggest hits i've seen in the game is where the guy gets hit than does a rubber band impression

@thejetsman21 I use something called a "Capture Card" which records audio and video from my TV. The one I have is called the "Dazzle Video Creator Plus" which is cheap and simple but it gets the job done. If you want a high end one check out the capture card called "Hauppauge HD PVR"
