Thats Wellington Barracks accomodation. 4 Man room. I lived there for a couple of years during my 5 years in the Grenadier Guards. Guards dont rest there if they are on duty. I presume this is the off coming guard with wrinkled boots etc. And they are at home having a shake down before getting changed. If your on duty then you rest wherever that is i.e buckingham palace guardroom etc. And if your are on duty and need to circulate the blood then you go for a march!
