I never got into "Smallville". Is it that Superman eventually learned to fly, and was just jumping really high for a while, or is it if he jumps first he can fly faster? He was jumping instead of flying (it looked like, anyway), at some points...so I'm asking.

he didnt learn to fly tell alot later. Part of the reason he didnt fly was becuase he felt it conected with the bard part of his personality or what ever. That and he used to hate hights.

There have been Green Arrow, the Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman, Siren, Angel of Vengeance, Martian Manhunter, and Superman (but you know that one). Can't recall any others, though Ryan gets an honorary superhero badge, God rest his soul! I cried so hard for him, after the surgery and everything. I still think it would have been better had Clark developed flying earlier. He could have taken Ryan flying for real, as well as his dad before they passed.
