being a fan of the Series for 7 years

i gotta say this game(mostly a movie)

is pretty much satisfying its like finally finishing off a game youve played and loved for years

Well, I've survived long enough through Metal Gear's cutscenes appreciate the story, no matter how fucking retarded it got (Liquid's soul living in Ocelot's arm, a Vampire, and pretty much everything in MGS2), so even if the "game" is mostly a movie, it'll still be great!

Wow, it's weird seeing what they had done four years ago, and how the game looked back then. I really love this game, it's the best on PS3 and probablt the best game out so far for this Generation.

This trailer is Pre-Rendered though.

MGS4 is in Real-Time so even 2-3 years later in devolopement somthings looked better in 2005. The Graphics in MGS4 are unmatched. Having the best looking water, underwater visuals, Sky-Dynamic Lighting, vehicle explosions, Faces, overall textures in Act5 for example, vegetation (Big Boss ending scene), most impressive camera effects (act4) and the best looking body visuals (Liquid's upper body, Snake in the Snake vs Liquid scene) etc.

Ah, I miss this trailer. I saw this trailer not knowing anything about the MGS series except Snake. Now I wish I didn't :( I remembered thinking this was a FPS. if it was, it would've been good!

the effects looked much better in this early trailer. but overall the graphics are about the same. they did a good job- it would have been cool to have seen some of that assasins creed like motion blending they show off in the beginning as well. o well.
