Technically, @Edricthecool222 was kind of correct. DS from Nintendo DS and 3DS means 'Dual Screen,' and the Wii U will use both the screens of a TV/monitor and the new controller. There is also an option to use only the screen of the controller.

I did never understand why gamers did buy a Wii when they had a PS2 back then. It was the same graphics but the ps2 was cheaper then the wii and had more games.
I had the Wii for about 5 Weeks and every game was a MP wich also came out on ps2 and PC or a shitty casual game with wiggle and shake controlls.
And Mario Party 6 that game was a piece of shit I thought it was a Demo for 50$.

I'm glad the Wii U will have better visuals but I am especially happy that it will be HD. After owning a PS3, I bought my Wii, and my only complaint is that it sucks to see beautiful games like Skyward Sword limited by low resolution.

Please take a look at Zelda (wii U) tech demo (not actually wii u not sure if it is or not) if you have seen it I would say it looks better then PS3 graphics even PS3 still have flat items same with Xb0x360 in games but no this one doesn't.

I did never understand why gamers did buy a Wii when they had a PS2 back then. It was the same graphics but the ps2 was cheaper then the wii and had more games.
I had the Wii for about 5 Weeks and every game was a MP wich also came out on ps2 and PC or a shitty casual game with wiggle and shake controlls.
And Mario Party 6 that game was a piece of shit I thought it was a Demo for 50$.
Good thing I gave the wii back in the Shop and got my money back.
Hope the Wii U is better then it´s forerunner

I'm glad the Wii U will have better visuals but I am especially happy that it will be HD. After owning a PS3, I bought my Wii, and my only complaint is that it sucks to see beautiful games like Skyward Sword limited by low resolution.
I think the graphics on the PS3 are amazing, so if the Wii U's better than that, I mean.. You're just splitting hairs at that point. Who cares?
I will wait to get a Wii U though, until there is a Zelda game (so yeah, a LONG time from now).

The WiiU is the most genious console I have ever seen. You get a new console AND the most awsome semiportable (most use their portables this way anyway) eva!
The processing power will be 3-5x the x360, so for atleast 2 years it will be the most powerful console in the market. Day 1 for me.
