@nik0lhc but i easily went to 15000 feet in my fsx game and the plane had no problems .i think this type of aircraft gains altitude pretty slow when at 8000ft it took me about 20mins to reach 15000ft

that sometimes happens to me too. So i just reset the flight and its all better. Another problem i occur is that sometimes when i start a flight and go to the "Spot" view it is zoomed in about twice what it usually is and then that goes on for the whole flight. So i usually restart the whole FSX

the black boxes are from the "illumination" zone of the lights where you can actually see the light coming off of the bulb, this happened to me where lights were very pixely in color, massive pixels and things, so I put the CD of FSX in my computer and I hit "fix" that should clear it up

I had that problem before and what I did was uninstall the FSX SP2 and it was perfect after that. This usually happens with addons like payware and freeware planes.

To fix those black boxes, all you have to do is go to the display panel in flight, click cancel, and you should be alright after that. What that does is just resets your display.

He has a highend computer now with plenty of memory running Vista 64, so unless he has a hardware fault (which is possible) the type of computer is not the problem. Could be a video driver issue. He could reinstall, but he should first clean out any trace of a previous driver install. I use Driver Cleaner Pro, but I'm not sure if it's compatible with Vista 64.

DirectX 10 for Vista has lots of bugs, and this is one of them. Try disabling it. If that doesn't work, try going to your settings, click scenery library, and make sure the priorities are in their default setting.

i have had the same problem a couple of times when i was recording live, i had to check how the progress was going in the recording so i paused the game, when i returned to the game i had the same glitch and it took a while before the computer fixed this its something in the graphics card i think, nice vid!

It looks like the error affected all of the lights in the game, judging by the airport behind the aircraft at 1:23 .

If you ever want to have to deal with a "tree glitch"-where there are trees a very short distance from the end of the runway- try flying out of Banff airport in Banff National Park. This airport is located in the rocky mountains and provides many... uh...challenges to the flight simmer.
