good video. I'm surprised that the west coast trains aren't electrified like they are here in the northeast corridor. Any plans for electrification?

Thank goodness. Plus I love the F40 leading, even if it is a dead unit (weighted unit with working lights, wipers, horn, and cab controls).

the first amtrak train I ever rode was back in 1996 and it was a 3 car superliner pulled by an F40
