One of the Goodies best episodes ever! It was a Christmas Special. It had great appeal to adults and kids alike back then. I remember watching with my Dad as a 10 year old and we both laughed until we couldn't laugh anymore. It poked fun at all those kid shows of the time. Still brings a great big grin.

I have now gone out and bought all the Goodies DVD's available but alas this episode is not among them.

Will the BBC release it at any point?

There are a total of 8 episodes available on DVD. In Australia, anyway. I just wish Puppet Power was one of them. When they were new, the Australian ABC did repeat them, and they sold the DVDs in their shops. Released a few years back, but not too hard to source.

Yes, if you look hard on ebay, they pop up every now and again. A few days ago, they had all eight BBC series AND the specials- including the highly saught-after GOODIES RULE O.K.! (Now, obviously these are pirate copies, albeit abso-bloody-lutely brilliant quality ones)
